I was in town for work from Houston and needed a spot to go to. This reminded me of home. 1st, not a lot of places serve perch. I got 2 3pc fish dinners, 1 with catfish and 1 with perch. Both types of fish were delicious and perfectly fried. The mac and cheese, greens and hush puppies were just as good as the fish. The fried okra was good, but wasnt to my liking. Next time I'm in flint, this will be my go to spot. Hours are from 11am to 1pm, items increase in price by $1 after 1pm

The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the food was great! We had catfish dinner. We will be back.

Excellent! Good Southern Cookin'. Fried Catfish and shrimp are awesome. Mac n cheese is the real deal..hush puppies were best I've had in a while and i even liked their red beans and rice, which is a first for me! Would highly recommend! Nothing was disappointing.

Took a while to get food because it’s FRESH, it’s not yesterday’s food or something they have sitting around too long. Best food I’ve had in a long while. Greens are tender with the perfect blend of heat and seasoning. Catfish is fresh and don’t have a rubber taste to it. Hush puppies.... I got mines cold because of who picked them up for me. Best hush puppies ever. They taste like cornbread, crunchy on the outside but have almost like a dressing taste inside it’s insane. Check em out and spread the word and I’ll definitely keep nagging my gf until we can make it back 😂😂

We've been there twice in the past few weeks. The cornmeal coating on the Catfish (yes, real Catfish, not that Vietnamese Swai that most places serve) and the lake perch are both great! It is worth the drive to Richfield Road! 5 Stars!!

THE FISH IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!
I ORDERED 2 4 PIECE FISH MEALS WITH 3 SIDES ON EACH PLATE, THE SIDES WHERE MAC AND CHEESE, GREENS AND YAMS. HOWEVER, THE GREENS WERE VERY SALTY, THE MAC AND CHEESE WAS JUST OIL AND NO SEASONING BUT THE YAMS WERE GREAT!! I'll be back!

I live a distance away from my family. If you want a taste of home this is the place to go!!! Fire!!! Catfish🔥macaroni & cheese 🔥yams 🔥. Was unable to taste greens cause they were SOLD OUT; but I’ll be back most definitely 💋

I was for sure they were like the rest of these restaurants. You know saying it’s catfish, when it’s swai. But it was the real deal. Catfish and it was so good. 2 thumbs up ❤💕

Man the food was awesome!! The hospitality I received made a down south girl feel at home...I didn’t eat in. It still needs some things to spice up the place, however it was clean and no foul odors! I was happy!

We thought it was full service. More of a take out place. There is three tables you order at the window. The catfish was excellent as was the mac&cheese real home made.

Got take out. It was very delicious. I had the sampler. A little bit of everything. Everything was cooked perfectly. I will definitely return. Might say I will try something else but what I had was so good!!😋😀☺😃😎

The food is delicious. I had candied sweet potatoes, collard green and cat fish. My recommendations are to look forward to "good eating".

Very good catfish, and it is AUTHENTIC Mississippi catfish, not that knock off stuff alot of restaurants around here use. Good sides too!

First time here. Everything was amazing! Fish, red beans and rice, greans, Mac and cheese. Everything tasted great! Already planning our next trip there!

Wow that was great. Wife picked up some catfish drove it home 20 minutes out. Still hot and fresh. Great taste.
