I've been coming here all my life and this is a great place to get great, local ice cream and lobster rolls. There are hoolahoops to play with in the side yard and plenty of seating along a pond.

Mmmmmm, they have some really good French fries 😅💯🤤 their ice cream is scrumptious too. Super friendly people, and our kids love to ask for stale cones to feed the ducks by the gorgeous lake behind the building.

Quality ice cream! Had the blackberry cobbler in a waffle cone. Delicious!!!! My son had to soft serve vanilla and they added surprise mini gummies. Yum! Def recommend you stop here for some ice cream.

We stopped by to find the sign being changed and not open today. Our family of 7 was so taken back when we were offered service for ice cream anyone. The ice cream was delicious and we were very grateful for the kindness!

I love the pine tree I mean credit cards only suck for us that love to pay cash and why make a small business pay credit card fees on a tiny amount !! Good old fashion ice cream stand family run love it ♥

Nice spot for ice cream, hard and soft serve, plus sundaes, milk shakes and more. Gifford ice cream is great. It's a pleasant spot to sit outside by the pond, watch the ducks and enjoy the scenery. Hard to beat!

Best place to get a lobster roll in Maine! Came here durring the Summer time with my family and kids' cousins. Sat outside on a picnic table had 2 dogs with us and the owner came out and offered our dogs a pup cup! Ice cream is awesome, great area, highly recomend this place! Will be back!

While the ice cream is pretty much the same as any other place, the people are very friendly. They are the only ice cream shop for miles around. The big thing is they're on a lake. They have plenty of seating both in front and out back. You can sit at a picnic table or around the lake in chairs. Bring some bread to feed the ducks, they'll eat right out of your hand! This is why we never miss this place. All the kids love it whether they're 6 or 96! 😉 Every time we're in the area we make sure to stop in. It's especially nice after visiting Smalls Falls rest stop, which is rarely used as a rest stop and is great to check out on a hot day, just make sure you bring your camera and your swimsuit!

I feel so bad for the commenter below, P. Clown 🤡. This person is clearly living in misery, as many are; usually it's self inflicted. On one level it can hurt to be on the receiving end. On another level it can be helpful to realize it must be a living hell to go through life with such hatred towards others.

I guess the only meaningful thing to do is to wish this person a life without suffering. Wish this for them and you are healed of the pain they try to inflict upon you.

Pine Tree Frosty is my absolute favorite icecream shop!!! They have the most generous portions anywhere! I couldn't finish mine the last time I was there because it was sooo much! You definitely get what you pay for and this place DELIVERS!! You can really tell that they care about their customers and always go above and beyond. The grounds are kept impeccably clean and the view of the lake is just beautiful! My favorite are the lobster rolls(which are packed FULL of juicy lobster and a toasted buttery bun) and a hot fudge sundae with Spanish peanuts and whipped cream. It's my little slice of heaven. Drop everything and get yourself to the Pine Tree Frosty ASAP!!! 🍦🍨🍧💕💜😊

Gifford's ice cream here, plus local Maine soft serve ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, twist). Their take on a Blizzard has LOTS of candy/mix-ins in it, highly recommended.

Great local ice cream shop in downtown Rangeley. Serving up generous scoops of Gifford's Ice cream (the BEST!!) and diner-style nosh at reasonable prices. The servers at the window are ALWAYS super sweet and patient. Quick service with a smile - nothing better than that when ice cream's involved! Definitely an easy stop anytime you're passing through Rangeley.

Always stop by at least once when we're in Rangeley. Excellent selection of Gifford's Ice Cream!

I never review any establishment whether I have a positive or negative experience, however a recent unfair and inaccurate review forces my hand... I’ve eaten at Frosty’s many times over the last two summers. I rotate between the fish and chips, burger, and lobster roll. All are delicious by any standard, and maybe more importantly a great value. I’ve never been disappointed. Large portions, tasty food, great service, and outdoor seating on the water make Frosty’s a must visit if you’re vacationing in Rangely. I would question the motives of a review to the contrary, and I say this as an arguably picky eater and tough critic. One thing that appears to be inarguable (even by the few negative reviewers): the ice cream is delicious. If you’re in Rangely and looking for delicious food at a very fair price and value... Do yourself a favor and check out Frosty’s!!!

Pine Tree Frosty serves a pretty good lobster roll as part of their food menu; also, if you're looking for Gifford's ice cream or soft serve, this is a great place for that.

Have been going since I was a teenager with my Dad. Now I've taken my children and grandchildren.
