Blue Star Cafe

I've eaten here several times. And no matter what I order, it is always excellent. From the Patty Melt, the Philly Steak and Cheese, Hot Beef and gravy over mashed potatoes or the Mushroom Swiss Burger. It's all delicious. Service is great and prices are very reasonable. It's where I want to eat whenever I come to town.

I only wish they would extend their hours into the evening.

Absolutely wonderful food, coffee and service! My veggie skillet was loaded with fresh broccoli, mushrooms etc. and was topped with three perfectly cooked eggs. So glad we stopped in here and will definitely come back when we are in the area.

It was our first time here. We were exploring a different city. We wanted an experience with a comfortable atmosphere, for my mother.
This restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Susan our server was amazing! She was very nice, helpful, patient, and attentive.
We enjoyed the Philly Steak Sandwich, and Chicken Sandwich. Mom ordered Biscuits
and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns,
and Sausage.
She absolutely loved it, and ate it all!

We went here for lunch after church service. The food was good and the service was also. There is also a lot to choose from on the menu. We were all to sit together and have a meal and enjoy ourselves. We all got good and service. I am sure we will be back again.

I have been eating at blue star for 20 years. It has always been consistent in food quality and service. They have the best Tacos and chli around. The price is fair though they like everyone else have increased theirs since the pandemic. I won't be eating there quite as often since i no longer work in gibson city. If your ever around gibson be sure and stop in.

I am never disappointed here. It's a nice local diner with great food and a friendly staff. Coffee is kept full and the sweet tea is my fave. Breakfast is my go to and Mondays creamy broccoli soup is always a hit.

Great food, great employees. Meat is cut right off the piece of beef. Grilled ham and cheese has ham sliced off the bone not deli ham. Best homemade salsa and homemade chips in town. Very clean atmosphere!!
