If you're staying in Rangeley, this is IT. The nearest hospital center is about an hour down the road in Farmington. This location has a nurse and PA on staff. The people are NICE and KIND and will do their best for you. The office is relatively new, clean and comfortable. I forget how I paid ... I think they took my insurance.

Went there for potential melanoma. Was told it didn't look like melanoma because it "wasn't black" they couldn't take the spot off because it was too big for them to deal with and that I could have a referral to a dermatologist if I "was worried" it WAS MELANOMA! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.

This was the least professional encounter I've ever experienced from a receptionist at a medical facility. I was constantly belittled and spoken down to despite following all posted protocols and wearing a kn-95 mask upon entry. The fact that this is the only medical establishment within a reasonable drive is very unfortunate.
