Bella Academy of Cosmetology

I was one of the first( non-mannequin ) to get my hair cut by student Marissa Olson.
I have naturally curly hair, and it was seriously a great cut. My hair was much more manageable.
She asked questions as needed of the instructor, which is appropriate as this is a teaching facility.

I was greeted with professionalism and a smile upon entering. I was so surprised that there was zero hesitation to address my coarse hair. The student who was assigned to me was great, she was very respectful and skillfully completed my hair above all of my expectations. Infact I have plans to bring other family members and friends
to the Academy for a relaxing "Me Day"
which was just what I needed and
and they did not disappoint.

I went to Bella and had my hair cut by Marissa Olson. It was such a pleasant experience, she was knowledgeable and friendly, and did a fantastic job. She even gave me tips and directions to help me style my hair on a daily basis. Would recommend her to anyone looking to get a great haircut.

Bella Academy is fantastic, I had Chia, my stylist cut and shape my hair for upcoming growth so when it's the right lane Chia can finish the style. Chia is amazing, talented, kind and a great listener. I very much enjoy coming to Bella. The supervisors are kind and helpful and very knowledgeable. When a find I stylist and we click, I set all my appointments up with them looking ahead to how far they schedule. I have never been disappointed anytime I have been there. Julie, who is an instructor and supervisor remembers me when I come in. That's very refreshing and I hope a good compliment. I could go on and on. Thank you Bella for being in Oshkosh, I look forward to many more happy years coming here for my hair,waxing and facial needs.

I had such a great time today with Caysie! She was absolutely the best stylist I have had, so personable and kind. She did a fantastic job. They keep this place clean, organized and such a great opportunity!

Anna did an excellent job cutting my hair. All the ladies are very friendly and professional. The instructors do a good job of checking on the students progress during the task they are undertaking.

My granddaughter and I were able to schedule appointments on short notice. I appreciate the personalized service, the willingness of the students to listen, and give us both excellent styles. Couldn't be happier with the total experience - fast, friendly, professional service.

I had my hair cut by a lovely girl named Brittany, it turned out really well and she was so nice and super compliant with all my random requests! Overall, I had a great experience!

I am currently a student at Bella Academy...I chose Bella for a handful of reasons! I like the smaller class sizes, meaning more one on one time, hours, Instructors are great, and the price was right. Would definitely come in for services after graduation!

Well, what can I say, the people at Bella don't really care about a persons life, they only care about money and they WILL discriminate against you. The first time I signed up for the year, they told me only one week before that they needed to set me back til the next course, because they only had one other candidate signed up. My financial aid at that point, was in the works. Then, after changing my life around, and so on, the next class was to start two months later, I had my financial aid approved to pay for the courses, but because I was trying to get extra to have spending money, they again, waited for about 1 week before school was to start, to ignore my calls, and emails. Finally, when I threatened them with a law suit, I got an email, not a call, saying that the owners heard from the grapevine that I needed money to live to go to school and since that "extra" money (although tuition was covered), they didn't think I was a good fit. I am not of school age, and I wanted to get a different back up degree under my belt. I feel so discriminated against because of age, I'm sick about it. Who are they to decide what my living expenses are. And, frankly I can prove that the "extra" money was approved by financial aid. They are liars. When, I do, they will hear from an attorney with a very large discrimination and civil lawsuit for how they treated me. I was so excited and they seriously were scammy, and not upfront, and very bad to me as a whole. I would not trust anything the owners say and the poor "new" financial aid person is nice, but surely threatened by they owners on not revealing their views on their candidates. I am very hurt, and it hurt me not only inside, but with the planning of the next chapter of my life. They deserve to be taught a lesson on this.

This isn’t a school it’s a scam. They literally only care about money. I was lied too about the curriculum so that I would sign up for there school. I was lied to about what financial aid would cover. I was scammed out of getting financial aid because the women who helps you file to get financial aid is only in the school about 2 days a week, has absolutely no idea what she is doing, and even after I submitted everything I knew I needed to submit to get financial aid it was never finalized so I never received the aid I needed. I wanted to return the kit for credit against what I owe because I wouldn’t be using it at all, but I couldn’t, and since I couldn’t return it for credit I wanted to take it and sell it so I could use the money to pay back my tuition, but I can’t take it home. So I can’t return it, and I couldn’t take home with me. If you are considering going to cosmetology school go literally anywhere else if you value your money and time.
