Genesee Veterans Park

Very nice area to look out onto the water. We road our motorcycle 🏍 out here on this gorgeous 😍 day. They had a restroom 🚻 for the wife to use and plenty of parking. Very beautiful 😍 views. I have never seen the water this high tho. They have really nice trails to walk 🚶‍♂ too.

Genesee Veteran’s Park is a nice, clean, well-maintained park in Genesee County. It’s a hidden gem 💎 located in Flint. The trail was paved and monitored by a Park Ranger. The paved trails accommodate walking and bike riding, but no motorized vehicles.

Loved the walking trails along the water. Beautiful scenery. Not overly busy. Pup friendly. Will be back again!

Nice park on Mott Lake/ Flint River. Easy access off of Genesee RD. Attached to the Flint River Trail. The Trail is probably 80% covered by the trees, from Veterans Park to Bluegill boat ramp.

Went on a Fall bike ride with my church group. It was so enjoyable and just a beautiful scenic 5 mile paved trail through woods and along a lake. Very clean and picturesque!!!

A peaceful park to honor those who serve. There is a long walking path, a dock over the water, and a decent place to launch a kayak.

Great place for a walk with access to Blue Gill. Fishing pier has a great view.

Great place for picnics. There's fishing on the dock. Biking and walking on the Rail trail.

Comfy little place that's nice to stop at, whether on a leisurely walk or for fishing. One of the county parks' fishing sites is located here, and the people who stop to fish there are always nice and friendly.

It's a nice walk in the woods very wooded along the Flint river. The paved trail is new and nice. I saw a few bike riders go by.

Good place to bring a few fishing poles to cast into the lake. Can catch fish if you're patient. Bluegill, rock bass, walleye, pike, catfish, carp.

There is a Vietnam Memorial wall here. It is also a great place to fish off the docks!

This is a peaceful little spot with a beautiful view of Mott Lake. You can sit here and relax, fish, ride your bike, etc.. I come here for a piece of mind and to relax when I can grab a few moments of me time.
