Our first experience was okay (pool opening). Every experience after that was not so great. Bad communicators and unreliable to follow through. Switched to Dave's Pool in Greenfield and have been very happy with the switch.

This is by far one of the worst ran companies I have ever had to deal with. We bought a house in the are a that had an in-ground swimming pool and despite having one at my parents house in my childhood, I needed help opening this pool up for the year. I called this company since it offers lower price and is local, and I am wishing I never would have. They came to open up the pool and seemed friendly enough, but that was the extent of my positive experience. I paid for the pool opening and chemicals in cash. They never gave me a receipt, which made me suspicious. The very next time that I went out to open the pool cover with the keypad which they last used, it would not open. After attempting to contact their office for help, no one ever answered or called back from my voicemails. Having a young child at home, I didnt want to fight with a non working keypad to uncover my pool, so I decided to order a new one. I had to order this by calling the cellphone of one of the gentlemen who opened my pool since I still couldnt reach the office. They told me that they would call me when the part came in and they would set up a time when to install it. After several days after the part was supposed to come in, I never heard from them. More repeated phone calls and voicemails later from me trying to reach them, I decided I was going to find their store and talk to someone. The very next day, before I could make it to their store, my wife called me, home alone with my child and said there was a strange man in our back yard by our barn. It turns out they came and installed the keypad without communicating a time to come out or even knocking on our door. They let themselves in to our fenced back yard. They never left a bill or anything. About a month later, they send me a bill for the keypad AND for the opening of the pool and chemicals, which I had already paid in cash. They also charged for other services that they did not perform. I finally reached someone at the front office. I told them what all had happened and they replied that one of their guys gave them cash that day they opened my pool, but they didnt remember who it was. They said they would take the unecessary items off of the bill, but I had to come into the store and pay in person. I came in a few days later to pay my bill. The only workers in the store were two very young teenagers. I asked them advice on how to get my pool from being cloudy. They told me dump a ton of chlorine in my pool, that it would kill anything and I could never add too much. I knew this wasnt accurate info, so I had to seek answers elsewhere. Good thing I did, because I would have wasted tons of money on chlorinating my pool to no avail since my ph was off. This past weekend I decided to close my pool myself so I wouldnt have to use them ever again. I researched and successfully closed it myself, except for one final step, the gizzmo tube that seals my skimmer was clearly broken, they were the last ones to uninstall it, and failed to tell me. I went into their store today to pick up a new one. As I walked in the door, a teenager was behind the desk on her phone texting with her feet on the counter. A lady shouted from the back room "Hello". I shouted back "Hello?". She shouted "I will be with you in a sec". All the while the teenager behind the counter staring at me not saying a word. Finally, the lady shouting came out, another teenager. I couldnt even tell if she had pants on because her shorts were so short and she came out barefoot. I explained what I needed and she didnt know what I was talking about. I showed her a picture of what I needed and she looked at the store shelf and said the "guys" must have taken them. That was all she said, and I left the store. Please, stay away from this establishment if you want to get anywhere with your pool care!!!

Any positive review of this company is fake. I cannot fathom how they are still in business. DO NOT hire them for ANY major work on your pool. They won’t show up, they will make up lie after lie after lie to explain why they have taken your money but failed to perform the work. The office girl will tell you herself that she knows NOTHING about any of the service or parts orders or scheduling and is only there to answer the phones. This place is a nightmare!!!!!!!!

I normally don't do reviews but I was amazed at the customer service. Everything I picked up I was either told that I don't want to buy it, or that it was very expensive. If the cost was a concern I would have went to walmart. Was it because I had on jeans and an old sweatshirt that you didn't think I could afford to purchase anything from your over priced store? As if that weren't bad enough she completely blew my mind while ringing out my purchases and announcing the cost of every item like I was going to tell her it was to costly and to put it back. I'm sure they are well aware of being over priced because there are NO prices listed on anything. This was my 1st and my last trip to this store.
