The Landing on Gun Lake

Beautiful beach area on Gun Lake. It is free to get in if you have the Mi State park pass on your license plate. If not, it's $18 which is a bit expensive for one trip to the beach. However, we had a fun time. The lawn & beach area looked well maintained.

This was our first time using the landing, very convenient! We picked up a pizza and a few things from the gas station.

I love this lake! Very clean and people are amazing and friendly wherever you go! We ended up eating with several other groups and hanging out!

The gas station is very convenient and does well catering to the boaters. Also went and got ice cream next door and the two girls working were just the sweetest! They were actively interested in hearing about my time in the war, what it was like moving to this country from my home, and they just loved hearing about how my fiance and I met and the unique story of her engagement ring that was made during WWII for my grandmother by her husband at Pearl Harbor and how I had it modernized before I proposed! They made us feel really special and it was an amazing moment for my fiance getting to hear how I talk about her to other people. The ice cream isn't bad either but could use some variety, like say cotton candy twisters, or more options without chocolate. But the staff was such a unique experience that I wanted to call out those two young women and their AMAZING customer service!

Stopped by Lakeside pizza for some breakfast was fantastic breakfast burrito an biscuits and gravy

Love all the activities and great food the best part is they will try different things to so if you have an idea tell them they might put it on the menu or do it if an activity

Picked up my pizza from Lakeside pizza. They have the best pizza in the area!

Love gun lake it's my favorite place

Clean establishment, friendly staff. Gas is usually one of the lowest prices in the area.
