Great experience. Had a extremely fatty steak that the waitress disregarded when I commented but the manager comped it for us which was super nice. We came back the same week and I mentioned about my steak and to please check it prior, he did and it was perfect. We felt our stones weren't as hot as they could have been this time but overall 10/10

My family went as we were reeling from the loss of my beloved sister, who was also a wife and mother. We just needed a good comforting experience, spending time together to distract us from the horrible monster that cancer is for a few hours.

It was the kind of good food and unique experience (you cook your own steak on lava rocks heated to 777°) that my sister would have loved,and in healthier times would have spear headed a trip to.

I will absolutely return with my family to visit this establishment again.

Looking past what would probably sticker shock for most folks, the food is good. My husband and son both got steak (no I don't know what kind, I don't eat steak) and cooked them at the table. My in laws each got steak as well (cooked for them) my youngest got soup and two of us got burgers. Just shy of 200$ for 7 us. I wasn't suprised. Staff was absolutely top notch. Our server was on top.it and super friendly. I e figured it would be busy for a Sunday afternoon but we got sat right away.

Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Restaurant was clean and all the staff we encountered were pleasant

Amazing food, amazing service (Kyle was the bomb). Really enjoyed this location. I’m use to going to Hartland, but we have recently moved out this way. We will be returning and highly recommend them! The pretzel bites and chili are highly 12/10 for us. My husband said the ribs are way better then Hartland location and I tried the new Mahi tacos and they were delicious. Fresh mango and cucumbers topped it just right! 10/10 highly recommend.

This was our first time at Black Rock. Our friends suggested it for Veterans day lunch. The food was fantastic, our server was great. Many other vets were there too. It was very nice that they offered all Veterans a nice discount on their meal.

Great place to get a steak. I've only been here a couple times for lunch! You cook your own steak to the doneness you like! Not to knock Black Rock at all but i prefer Lucky's Steakhouse. All the food was great here, i just prefer a whole baked sweet potato over mashed. The French onion soup also good . Steak was delicious and just the way i like it!! The appetizer was delicious i preferred the white dip for the pretzels! The coconut shrimp were 🔥🔥🔥!Highly recommend 💚 💯💯

I’ve been here so many times I’ve lost count. My favorite i like to start off with is the spinach & artichoke dip or the lobster dip. Either one is amazing! The dynamite shrimp is one of the best things on the menu! I tried the fish tacos for a change with a mango salsa and they were great! The steak & loaded mash paired with Mac and cheese are always a great choice! I love their Caesar salads as well. The staff are attentive & polite. I like their drinks but the lemon drops are small for the price they’re asking. I recommend this place for a bite to eat! You will be satisfied!

We had an amazing time for our Anniversary dinner. The food is amazing and extremely affordable! Will be going back soon!

Whata meal! I was enjoying a cuppa coffee and soon my delightful server presented me with my appetizer - a "you've gotta be kidding me" large serving of the most delicious tasting fried mushrooms! My entre - Mahi Mahi tacos were light and tasty with a side order of Cajun fries...oh my, best flavored fries ever! (and I'm not fond of seasoned fries!)

First time at Black Rock, loved the idea of cooking my steak to my perfection, the butter and sauce were very good additions added to the whole flavor experience. Clam chowder was some of the best I've had 🤗.

The steak was amazing. I had the hand cut New York strip with a Maine lobster tail, house salad, and baked potato. Cool atmosphere and cooking on the stone was a cool experience to try.

We sat at the bar and had some burgers and signature cocktails. The food was great. The atmosphere was fine. But the service is what stood out. Our bartender/waitperson was Karina. She was exceptional. She was funny and attentive and took the time to engage with us, explaining dishes and cocktails. Kudos to Karina! ( shout out to the young lady at the hostess station who told me I looked lovely when I came in too! That was just such a nice way to be greeted!)

Husband and I celebrated our anniversary on a very busy Saturday night! Everything was amazing. Our bartender/waitress Molly was very patient and kept us updated on our food status as they were very busy. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

My husband and I visited the Black Rock in Davison on Friday, November 3. As usual, the food did not disappoint. Black Rock is a little higher in price than most steakhouses, but you are paying for the unique experience of cooking your own steak on a 750 degree stone. What better way to make sure your steak is done just how you like it?? In addition, the sauces for the steak are delicious and there’s a great choice in sides to fit most any taste. Their dinners come with 2 sides, leaving you quite satisfied when you leave. As far appetizers and desserts go, the pretzel bites with bubbling cheeses is so yummy, I get it every time I go, and I did this time too! I didn’t get dessert because I was too full to fit in a dessert, but one of these days!! I’ll end the review by saying the ambience is always great, as it was this time as well, and our waitress, who’s name was Autumn, was friendly, knowledgeable, and always brought drink refills before we had to ask. Great experience, as usual. If you want a great atmosphere for a date, a casual lunch, a business dinner, or a family gathering, Black Rock suits all these situations and more. Plus, you get the fun and one-of-a-kind experience of cooking your own steak how you like it!!!

We were there for dinner today and it was great! We got the appetizer of pretzels and cheese, two sirloins on the rock and a kids steak cooked in the kitchen. Everything was amazing. Autumn was our server and she was exceptional. Not once did we have to ask for a single thing because she has already brought everything we could need. And she kept our Shirley temples coming

Brittan is AMAZING! Top notch service at the bar every single time. Very personable, kind and fast! The food here is also great. Who doesn’t love a sizzling steak, soft pretzel bites and a huge dessert? A great place to eat for sure!

Everything was delicious & the waiter was very friendly and tended to our every need. Take note Long Island, mimosas, and one other drink I can’t think of the name are 3 dollars all day Sunday ! I loved everything. Definitely will come back when I visit Michigan again !

Karina was our bartender, she was amazing. Very personable and made sure the atmosphere was light hearted and fun. She took the time to chit chat with us. Over all the experience was great!

A unique and delicious take on the steak. Portions are good. Food tastes fresh. Learning to cook on the heat stone takes a moment but gives you meat cooked to your exact preference.
It is definitely busy at night but not unmanageable.
The dipping butter for the meat is *chef's kiss*.

Birthday dinner. Our server was absolutely awesome! He had a lot of tables including one with 10+ people at it, and still made sure we were taken care of. The food was great, but he really made it a special occasion.
