It’s a fantastic health care system. A real treasure for the area, IMO. The people are universally professional and very nice. Special shout out to Katie and Dr Roelke in dermatology, whom I just saw today. Just great people and they make the process fun. And hey, the place has nice views too.

I visited the emergency department yesterday afternoon with my daughter. The doctor Joshua was such a welcoming person. He explained everything so well and you knew that he actually cared about what was going on. He is the definition of what a doctor should be. Thanks to him my daughter is doing so much better and slept through the night. Thank you!!!

We’ve been here twice with our son who has special needs. The staff here is absolutely amazing. They are so patient and take the extra time needed to make him comfortable. This is by far the best surgery experience we’ve had.

This was my first experience with Lakewood Health System and I was pleasantly surprised with my encounter!
Staff was very kind and helpful in giving directions to the rehab center on the lower level.

Reception in the rehab department was also kind and respectful during check in.

I'm getting PT treatment for my polyneuropathy and it was the first time that any provider had actually given me a description of what was happening to my nerves.

I'll be checking on other services they provide when I return for therapy tomorrow!

We have multiple hospitals and clinics in this area but Lakewood Staples is by far the best! All the staff I’ve encountered (from dermatology, podiatry, speech and physical therapists, family medicine, OB/GYN, and emergency room) have always been polite, efficient, through and seemed to genuinely care. I recommend them to anyone who is looking to make a healthcare change.

From the first person I spoke to on the phone in the clinic to the ER staff to the ICU staff to the janitors to the diabetes support staff and everyone in between I couldn't of asked for a better experience. The nurses my son had for 3 day were very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, very thorough, fast and funny! The facility is clean and beautiful. In a very scary time for my son and my family I'm so grateful we came here. We were here 9-25 to 9-28. I would appreciate if the nurses on staff can be shown this post, especially Carol :)

In May 2018 I had the gastric sleeve done by Dr. Lenz and I have to say that he is an amazing surgeon and he did an amazing job. Since the first time I met with him he has been so kind and has treated me with the upmost respect. The gastric sleeve was the first surgery I have ever had and he put my mind at ease about it and since the surgery he has continued to put my mind at ease. During my follow up appointments he always takes the time to make sure everything is going and if I bring up any concerns he is willing to take the time and find out what causing my issues. I have also have to say that Jessica Carter who is the Bariatric Program Coordinator is also amazing and has helped me through my journey with the gastric sleeve. Lakewood is an amazing place and has some amazing people that work there and you can tell they care about their patients.

Lakewood is the best experience in healthcare for both me and my family members. I had problems for years and Lakewood helped almost immediately by doing a DNA swab test that tells you what problems I had and what medication work for me. I have been to other healthcare facilities and they can't hold a candle to Lakewood Health systems. From the moment you walk in the door the staff is so friendly, helpful and smile at everyone when walking by. I have been to Lakewood in Staples, Motley and Pillager and had great experience with my doctor's. Thanks to all of you at Lakewood Health systems for your excellent care and customer service!

Great clinic and hospital! I've had both my children here and even though we live 25 miles away (and closer to another hospital) we do all our doctoring at Lakewood. We are always treated with kindness and respect.

I love my PA, Angie Paul. She is so great and takes time to sit down and listen to what hurdles might get in the way of my best health. She responds promptly via the app with medication questions, and I have never had an issue with billing. We just moved here from the Cities and I feel like this company takes time to address your needs.

Lakewood was wonderful!! They really stepped up to the plate and helped my family during a family members time of need. I can't thank them enough!! I wish I could remember all the names of the staff I encountered but unfortunately I can't. But for sure Dr. Thiel and the nursing staff in the ER, social workers, security staff, and pt, ot, and speech.

Courteous and quick. I like my regular physician but when he isn't available I am seen by someone who is patient and competent. I totally appreciate the time spent and that I am not ignored when I know I needed to be seen! Thank you!

Amazing care!!! My son has gotten the care he needed and is still alive thank the lord because of the care we received here!! The brainerd hospital and essential health did nothing and pushed us out the door with a bill. Lakewood genuinely cares

This is where my doctor is. Also, Lakewood diagnosed and treated my brother in law for cancer after another health care system sent him home untreated. Unfortunately he waited too long to seek a second opinion. He received excellent care at Lakewood.

I'm writing this review in regards to orthopedics,the surgeons are great and so are there nurses,and there PA-C Ryan skoog is one of the most caring people I've met,thanks guys.

Never ever had any problem. Been going here for years and far superior to that "other" place in a certain larger nearby town.
Billing seems to be irregular tho but I don"t understand how they come up with some of the prices.

After receiving poor quality treatment at Tri-County Hospital in wadena, Lakewood in Staples literally went above and beyond to get me real help. I will always come here now, Thank You Lakewood!!!

Best birth experience ever! Amazing hospital! Never had a bad experience here.
