My husband and I were impressed with the cleanliness and artfully decorated house. We stayed in a queen room with its own private bath. The bed was comfortable, the room smelled really nice, and the bathroom was clean and quite roomy. Lawrence, our host, prepared an absolutely delicious and healthy breakfast and made us feel like we have been friends for a long time. The rate is very acceptable compared to what hotels with the same star quality are offering these days and even lower considering that you get such an excellent breakfast and exceptional host. I strongly recommend this place to everyone. Only disadvantage is that people who like to watch tv may be disappointed because there isn't one. However, watching tv is nothing compared to having great conversations with someone who is very well-read, respectful and pleasant to be with.

Loved it! Great ambiance, amazing host. Loved the room and the food was delicious. Fresh berries parfait, crispy veggies and cheese eggs, high quality sausages and artisan quality blueberry pancakes.
Deep in the woods, a truly zen experience with modern accommodations. Can't wait to go back and visit our new friends, Lawrence, Goto and the Airedale pack and hopefully have the pleasure to meet the lady of the house.

This was the perfect place to stay for my first visit to Michigan. Lawrence was an excellent host who puts in tremendous effort to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully.

The host (Lawrence) was THE most friendly and accomodating host we have ever had at an Air BnB. The grounds were wonderful. We really enjoyed walking the trails. Lawrence prepared a very tasty breakfast for us and the conversation between guests (my wife and I were one of 3 couples there) was really good. I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a remote Michigan getaway.

Such a great little b&b tucked away in the woods, near Ludington. The host, Lawrence, is great! He goes above and beyond for every guest with great coffee, breakfast, and great company. You won't be disappointed, and I wish we had stayed longer! Fantastic experience all around!

It was absolutely beautiful!! The owner. Lawrence, so hospitable and easy to be around. It was like being around friends and family. He made breakfast for all the guests there was a grill that the guests could use. A nature trail. Too many things to mention . The rooms were beautiful and private. I would recommend this place to anyone. Just no children

Torn between keeping this place a secret and telling everyone I know about it! We stayed at the private cabin for a weekend away from the city and it was all we wanted and more!
Lawrence, our host, was super nice. Snowfall was heavy and he cleared up the driveway prior to our arrival. He also started heating up the cabin the day before. The cabin was nice and cozy, right in the Manistee National Forest. I would love to come back in the summer, but we will most likely be returning every winter!

i accidentally discovered a wonderful place..Aubertden!! We needed somewhere to stay as we were attending a wedding nearby. We were greeted warmly by Lawrence, who gave us a tour and showed us our wonderful room. Friendly..fun dogs..a sweet cat..great room with a comfy bed..and a spectacular breakfast! Fun to chat at breakfast with Lawrence and the other couple staying there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great staying! Laurence is a great host, very attentive to our needs and preferences - not to present at the same time. The room was very clean, the cat 'Gato' stays inside and is very friendly.

This place is peaceful and resourcing, perfect for our little couple getaway to disconnect over the weekend.
I would had not expect anything better from this trip.

What a lovely stay. I travel every week, and usually never leave comments, but this place truly stands out. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Everything is kept up so beautiful, and the ambiance is so soothing. Bed sheets are silky soft, and the towels are thick plush. Breakfast is so healthy, owner takes much pride in his cooking, and is definitely a foodie. I am already looking forward to coming back, it was hard to leave. Thank you Lawrence, you provide the total package.

Lawrence and Ashley are wonderful hosts who create the absolute perfect getaway! It was such a pleasure staying at Aubert Den- clean rooms, lovely animals (that can be kept away upon request) and positive, welcoming attitudes make this experience a must-have if you are visiting the area.

Nice Lodge in the heart of the Manistee national Forest surrounded by nice trails and Forest that have a thriving wildlife population. Deer, cougars and other wonderful wildlife are roaming the surrounding landscapes. It was a nice cozy den to have our family hunting trip.

A wonderful place to get away from the rat-race. Very relaxing! The hosts, Lawerence & Ashley are awesome! ….and if you are in the market for an Airedale Terrier, they are breeders!

Lawrence was so helpful and the food so delicious. It was my shakeout run on a new purchase and the tire was flat, but he helped out fixing it!

Had a fun stay in the woods here with my girlfriend and friends. Great place to get away and enjoy the snowy landscapes!

This place is amazing. You could not find better proprietors anywhere. I definitely recommend and hope to have the pleasure of visiting again
