I absolutely love this store. I've gotten all my trapping stuff there so far. They even carry Airgun stuff. Anything outdoors you need you can find there!! I love going even just to window shop. The people are easy to talk with to!

The folks at Wilderness Sports are super knowledgeable and helpful! I recently inherited a number of firearms and they not only appraised them for me, but helped me register a couple of handguns from out of state. The store is filled with a variety of hunting, camping, outdoor sports and apparel. Once you're there, you won't want to leave! Well worth the visit!

Great customer service!! Good service is easy when everything goes smoothly. Great service arises when you have an issue and it is addressed immediately and resolved. Today I brought back an electric hand warmer that was a Christmas gift that did not work right out of the package. The associate I talked to brought me to the back of the store to find me an exchange. Before letting me leave, they wanted to make sure that the new one worked. Good thing, all of them on the display were defective!! One of the managers herd about the ongoing issue and immediately went back to the stock room and found another unit that worked!! Kudos to the Wilderness crew for going above and beyond to insure a satisfied customer!!

Always very polite, great place for anyone even women 😉 Variety of hunting, fishing, camping or everyday life supplies. Cute hats for women, sunglasses, lures, t-shirts, boots you name it they have it. Nice store to have one in town :)

Love this place, I have bought sold and traded with them over n over. Sig224 .40 $800+ firearm for $400.
Ammunition can be included on the purchase of a firearm even when they’re outta Stock for that caliber. So they make sure that you’re able to get ur firearm and go practice with it immediately. Plandemic prices were up all over the place so can’t complain about it too much. Also buying the ammo in store was slightly cheaper than getting it cheap off line. Especially when it says free shipping and it’s really not, they’ll tack on another $15-$45 to ship also, the price online they don’t show you the taxes until check out, and pending the state you’re ordering from the taxes in said ammo item can be higher.

Great store just packed with stuff! If you are up there fishing or hunting, camping and need something go there first. They also carry live bait the walleyes on michigamme were partial to leeches and the carried them. I truly believe you could find new interesting things every time you visited they had the store that packed

Great place to shop. They really pack alot of great supplies in such a small place. The staff makes the place a great small town shop feel. All business is appreciated no matter the dollar amount.

Best sporting goods store in the Ishpeming area. One of the few places I can find leaches.

Great place for anything sporting. I had them make a adjustment on my riffle scope and they wouldn't charge for it and they also had some of my '06 ammo I use...bonus!

Great selection, cramped inside but it's like going to Disneyland. Will buy more firearms from this store, the employees were knowledgeable and very helpful in finding the perfect fit for a handgun.

Nice selection of hunting rifles, shotguns, handguns, scopes and ammo.......and tons of other stuff needed for hunting and shooting.

We needed a replacement fishing rod for one that broke down. We went to Meijer's in Marquette and they had NO rods. This Ishpeming shop had everything for fishing that you would need.
