Came right to the car and handed us menus without asking. The waitress was right on point when taking our order very nice and outgoing. She was back with our food within 10 minutes. Very fast hot and delicious.

With root beer in your name it better be good and well it didn’t disappoint, The food isn’t going to blow you away like a 5 star restaurant but when it takes 5 minutes to get your food what do you expect. Burger was pretty good and the Coney Island fries had the perfect amount of fries chili and cheese

Drive inns are an endangered species, and this one is special. Their root beer is really good and their rather expensive Chicago style hot dogs are the best around here for sure. The owner is nice and so are the wait staff. Great place to go on a summer afternoon.
Update: awesome onion rings too@

Hubby and I go here once in awhile! We introduced his family there while they were in town. Everyone was definitely happy with their food. The olive burgers were definitely a favorite! Hubby and I always go for the deep fried pickles to split and burgers! It's nice to either be able to sit in the car like the drive in diner or they do have picnic tables.

The nicest people, the friendliest service, and the best food! If my son had his way we would come here once a week! Excellent cheese fries, amazing root beer floats! We love Red's!

Pros: Pretty good food. Their fries were very crispy and good. Olive burger was very tasty. Root beer float was decent. Cons: There was a lot of waitstaff standing around not doing anything. The bathroom for this place is a port on potty.

Staff works so hard and does an amazing job! Food is by far some of the best my family has had in a while from a nice drive in. Thumbs up to all the employees and owners for a job well done!

This drive in style root beer stand is one of the best I've been to in the Midwest. The servers were super nice, food was made quick and was good, and the atmosphere was safe for kids and enjoyable for adults. Also they have veggie based dogs and burgers for vegan/vegetarian friends! I will definitely be returning to eat here in any future trip to the Kalamazoo area.

I love this place. I am not to the point where I am quite comfortable eating inside a restaurant yet. So Red's, I feel is the perfect solution for that. It gives the eating out feel without actually having to go inside. Their food has been exceptional each time I've been. Their staff has also been great! I will keep returning.

We came into Paw Paw from Plainwell on a suggestion from my son's coworker. The food was well worth the trip and the price of the food was very affordable. We will definitely be back again...and again...and again. By the way, the staff was attentive and helpful.

Loved it, local seasonal (closes for the winter) drive in. Locally made root beer, very good and comfort food, dogs, brats and burgers.

This was my first visit to Red's, but it certainly won't be my last! I loved everything about this place! The service was amazing, the staff was ridiculously friendly and the food was just phenomenal. I got the Chicago dog, and though $4.99 sounds pricey, it was worth every penny. I've never had a better weiner. The toppings were aplenty (whole slices of tomato! Sliced pickle! Sport peppers! And whatever other magical things they put on there, all on a poppyseed bun!), and, for drive in fast food, the presentation was out of this world. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger, and boy did that thing look tasty. The fries (which I of course lovingly stole several of) were cooked to a delicious crispy golden brown. The coleslaw was really nothing special, but still very good. But it was the root beer that made the meal... that heavenly sweet sweet nectar. Don't forget to order a gallon (or five) to take home!

I can't wait to visit Red's again!! I may live 30 minutes away, but this place is absolutely worth the drive.

Visited on a late Saturday afternoon. The place was packed! We had intended on eating there, either in our car or at the picnic tables provided but it was waaay too busy so we used the "to-go" window and a very, very patient young lady cheerfully took our order.

She apologized at the time of order that it might take a while but within minutes she came to our car with our drinks. Several more minutes later, she arrived with our hot dogs. Sure, it took longer to get our food than one might think when ordering only hot dogs but they were packed with customers and they have a lot more than just hot dogs on their menu.

We drove off and ate our food at the banks of Maple Lake in downtown Paw Paw at clean picnic tables provided by the city parks department. Downtown Paw Paw is just minutes away from Red's Root Beer so our hot dogs were still hot and delicious. The root beer was cold and creamy.

This visit was for a late lunch/pre-dinner snack. I look forward to enjoying a fuller meal there sometime in the near future. Olive burgers on the menu caught my eye.

Red's has the BEST CONEY DOGS AND CONEY CHEESE FRIES THAT I HAVE EVER TASTED! Really tasty food, fast and efficient wait staff and clean. I can't find anything to fault here. My first choice when I'm in Paw².

Absolutely love this place! We go specifically for the fried Pickles since no one else around seems to have them. We also love the brownie sundae as well. The car hops are friendly and absolutely amazing. And just about every time we go, the owner Red comes around and asks how our food and service was and Thanks us for our support of his business which you really don't get when you go to other places. Oh yeah, and their root beer is amazing! Try a gallon to go! :)
