Boston Hotel

Great time at the Boston Hotel with family. Apps and dinner were delicious. The prime rib sandwich was outstandingly good. Great taste, tender and piled high on the roll. The homemade chips finished off the sandwich. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. I'm going back, soon!

The food is incredible and the seating area is very cozy. Big TV in the dining room which is nice for watching football. Really enjoyed our dinner here!

A very good old fashiomned tavern lenten fish fry. Portions were large. Prices are very good. Servers were excellent.

Awesome roast beef on weck with home cut French fries, onion soup....all were delicious. Waitress was very nice too.

Boston Hotel is a restaurant bar. They do not have any rooms for the night. They did many years ago, hence the name.😊
Their food is very good and the Prime rib sandwiches are the best!!!

Fish fry has been top of the line for over 35 years! Cathy the proprietor is always accommodating when you call for reservations or as a walk in .The waitress Mandy is conscientious about providing service as are the others employees , just a nice place to have a dinner !

Have moved back to the area after many years.

Been great to be back home.

What makes it special is to have people who are kind and make you feel welcome and part of things.

Smokey behind the bar is a great guy and works hard to make sure everyone is welcome.

People are nice.

superb restaurant. the steak was fabulous along with the lobster. this is a restaurant. not a lodging as best that i can tell

Service was great... Beth was sweet and on point 👌. Food was Very Good. They had a lot of specials to choose from. Prime rib for two was a good deal and very delicious!! Will definitely be back!! 🤗

We eat here twice a week. Best roast beef and wings around. My husband loves the fish better than any he has had. They make homemade pizza logs served with homemade marinara sauce. These are to die for. Excellent staff always.

I've never left a review for anything, but this place is top notch. Best restaurant I've ever been too and we eat out alot. Good prices, friendly staff and the food was 5 star. I thought for many years how good of food can a bar have? I guess the answer is the best around. Would give 10 stars If I could

Had the fish fry, coconut shrimp and lobster dainties. I loved each one of them. The shrimp came with the sweet and spicy dip that was a great addition to the coconut flavor. The fish fry was the best one I had in western ny area. It was big, fluffy, moist, and the breading on the outside was cooked just right with a nice little crunch. I would highly recommend the fish fry to anyone that is looking for a nice size and great tasting fish. They also fill your plate with the sides (fries, macaroni salad, and coleslaw)

Great little restaurant/bar right off the main drag.

Homemade pizza logs were delicious and enough for 2+ meals. Open face prime rib was very good. Server was also tending the bar but was very attentive. Great place to eat. We wanted to try something different on our way home from Buffalo. We will stop by again.

The haddock was done just right, sides were homemade with lots flavor and the French fries were deep fried perfectly to a crispy golden brown. I’ll be back.

This is my first visit to the Original Boston Hotel. There's another one in another location owned by someone else. It was my fiancee's birthday and she really wanted surf and turf I search far and wide for a value meal and still have a good time somewhat affordable for such an expensive dish. Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised when I seen the food reviews in the menu for the Boston Hotel down in Boston, New York! This location I found out was bought by a long time waitress of 30 years, her daughter Chelsea was our server. The food was outstanding for the price and i probly saved $100 over a higher end restaurant near the city. I cant say enough how pleased we both were. Yes beer in plastic cups, paper plates for our appetizer waste but wow what a great meal with outstanding service! Pretty darn nice menu with some unique foods and high end eating for a rural location! I highly recommend it you won't be sorry, call for reservations on busier nights to be safe! Thank me later!

Great food, wonderful service.
My emotional support dog. Alex, a 7 lbs Maltese was welcome and not questioned. People were enjoying their food. The patrons at the bar were laughing and having a great time. Such a friendly atmosphere! The fantastic food!. My compliments to the Chef. Go to the Boston Hotel. You will enjoy the experience.

We decided to go to dinner and try the hotel under new management. I tried the Alaskan snow crab and my husband had the chicken sandwich. The food was served quickly and tasted excellent. The service was exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a nicer waitress. I had a crying 10 month old and the waitressed empathize with us explaining how she has nieces and nephews young in age. She even tried to entertain him for a bit. The table next to us had ordered Scallops (a special of the evening) and we could hear them raving about how delicious they were. We were very pleased to see the turn around the hotel has made and can't wait to return for another meal. Highly recommend.
