MTO Bar and Grill

I’ve ate here when it was called Lake Manor my first time on 3/12/09. It was after my dad’s funeral which was in Ripley. Since then I ate there probably 5 other times. It was always very good and loved the whole country store and kitchen vibe. I’m going to visit my dad’s grave today and can’t wait to see how it is now with new management. I only hope it’s as good as always and/or better. Curious to see anything different on menu or bar. My next review will be after todays visit Fingers crossed 🤞 cuz I’m driving from Huber Heights Ohio (suburb of Dayton)

Our 1st visit was a wonderful experience. The resturant was clean and the service was friendly. We were very pleased with the selection on the salad bar. The cod and catfish meals were fresh tasting. The chocolate pie reminds me of my moms with a chocolate pudding texture. We look forward to our next visit.

This was our 1st time eating here. Our order was the peanut butter bacon cheddar burger, fried mushrooms and pickles, and the biggest catfish hoagie in my life with fries. Everything was fully cooked, hot and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Will definitely be back.

Wife went here with some friends and brought me home prime rib… very tasty. 10/10 would recommend. I’d of posted pictures but I ate it too dang quick.

If you have the chance, check out MTO Bar and Grill. This establishment is clean and the staff are friendly. The food is good and the service is excellent, it was an all around great experience.

My pet peeve is refills on drinks,we were still eating our meal and had to ask for a refill and they asked if we wanted it in a to go cup. It felt like they were rushing us out while still eating .

This place is the best....salad bar is #1.

My husband and I went here today for lunch. Hands down the best restaurant around! We got fried pickles and fries mushrooms for an appetizer plus the salad bar which was phenomenal. He got the catfish dinner and I got the chicken sizzler dinner. We couldn’t be any happier with this restaurant and the service was amazing. I will be taking my whole family there. They have new owners from what I hear. The prices were not that expensive either.

As always, this was worth the trip. Service was friendly and good, but not every five minutes. Food was great - good options and an excellent salad bar as well..... The only ding this trip was dessert - we had peanut butter cream pie, which was half good, and half..... Well my better half mentioned that it tasted a bit like lemon pie, and so it did, which was strange, to say the least. We informed the cashier just in case anyone else noticed it.

Grew up going here and it hasn't changed much over the years - food is still great and so is service!

Had a fantastic dining experience on Feb 6. Food was hot, quick, and delicious. Servers were attentive to our large group and on top of every detail. The new ownership and management have turned this popular local establishment around and definitely have things moving in the right direction. We will be back very soon!

Second time I went, I got chicken alfredo. I notice that the "tender" chicken was not so tender. I also noticed a bad aftertaste. It was the not-so familiar taste of precooked chicken which has been in the fridge for a week. After politely pointing out to the waitress we received no appologies whatsoever. And I could see she notified the manager/owner. Maybe if someone at least appologized I would not be posting this addition to my first review.

So cute and cozy! It really does feel like your at home. We were seated immediately, and the waitress was upbeat and nice, she took great care of us! Definitely will be back! The food was great too, the soup was pipping hot, and the salads were fresh and so tasty

Had Liver and Onions and they were great. Also had the salad bar which reminded me of the old Ponderosa Salad Bar. Brought back some memories with my mom and dad.

Best kept secret around! 5 star worthy! My husband and I just ate there. I had a dbl Decker with salad bar and he had the hungry man's breakfast...both were awesome. We saw some of the other customers food being served, and I have to tell you, there was nothing skimpy about any of it. Everything was priced better than right. Service was great. Food was fresh. Well worth the drive! We are already planning to go back.

Great food and a friendly atmosphere. The soup and salad bar is fresh and has a nice appearance. I feel at home eating here.

Very happy we tried this place. Overall a great family restaurant. The soup and salad bar was awesome(potato soup was delicious). Best country fried steak I've had in a while buffalo fries were tasty and prices were reasonable. Now that we know about this place, I am sure my family will be back.
