The Rosendale Cafe

Delicious food and excellent service. I had the brown rice burger wrap and my husband had the buffalo cauliflower. We enjoyed both. This cafe also has a cute little shop with random trinkets and food.

Loved my vegan gyro, and it was warm enough to enjoy the food out back. Wish I could have stayed longer to work on the community puzzle but hopefully I will be back! :)

Such an amazing place! We are vegan and gluten free and we were so excited by the huge amount of options for us! We also had our service dog with us and they were totally fine with that! The food was delicious, the staff was so kind and friendly, and the cider mimosas hit the spot!!! We love this place and will definitely come back

Really great place. Love the decoration and atmosphere. Staff was nice and the food was good. The Japanese dressing for the salad was totally awesome.

Such a great lunch! While everything was wonderful, the cauliflower bites and coconut limeade really stood out. The sauce on the cauliflower was delicious, spicy but not terribly hot. Right amount of sweetness. The coconut limeade was thick and rich (which we hadn’t anticipated), but in a good way. It was really refreshing. We brought my dog and really enjoyed the outdoor seating. The service was also very good despite how busy it was on Juneteenth and Father’s Day .

What a treat it was to have come here for dinner with our group of 4. My wife and I are vegan and our friends were open to new things. All things are vegetarian on the menu, but they all can be made vegan which is awesome! The mushroom stroganoff and cauliflower buffalo wings were fantastic. My wife had the zen plate which was equally as enjoyable. Can't wait to go back and try new things. Our friends both ordered black bean quesadilla which they loved. We sat on the patio since they are only doing take out and outside seating. They brought the food and service was great, just remember to wear mask inside at this time. We also got one giant piece of double chocolate cake (vegan) and it was a little dry inside, but the frosting made up for it. Not killer sweet which is what we like and it did not sit on my stomach like a rock. I encourage you to try this if your vegan or even open to the idea, will not disappoint.

Stopped by after a visit to the Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. Great menu with lots of vegetarian and vegan options -- made with whole foods! Really delicious and will go back next time I'm in the area.

I’ve been here twice and each time it was exceptional. The food is very well prepared and unique, has a home cooked and fresh feel. Also, the cafe itself is charming and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Friendly services.. Great vibe... Great little shop... Puzzle to keep you busy as you wait for take out.. And great local art... Delicious food!! Tons of vegan options!! We will be back!!

Love the atmosphere. Can’t wait to dine inside, or outside when it’s warm. Wish they were open earlier but it’s worth the wait! Never had a bad experience. Staff is super friendly and food is so so so yummy. Also they have really good local beers, mimosa options yay. Always recommend, such a happy place 🥰

this place is adorable and the food is just... wow. excellent. so good. I highly recommend any burritos or quesadillas (the café red sauce is scrumptious!!) overall, a great little place I'll definitely be coming back to!

Reassuringly modest cafe with great varied menu. Food is tasty, definitely on the healthy side of vegetarian food - reminds me of all my favourite "been here a long time" vegetarian places. Prices are excellent for much of the menu and you can get a seriously nice dinner here for not too much.

This place can get wicked busy, but it's worth it! Staff are fun, food is excellent, and atmosphere is unique. Breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner... Whatever... food is flavorful and well portioned. I love their curried chickpeas and spinach. Wonderfully flavorful and filling after a day of hiking.

Came here after eating really unhealthily for a few days and was so glad we did. The food was excellent, healthy, filling. Really friendly service as well. A good atmosphere -- you could bring a date or your family. Hope to come back.

Awesome local business. They offer a mostly vegan and vegetarian menu, the only place in the region to do so. Everything I've had there has been excellent- you have to try the seitan gyros! The service is great, and their japanese salad dressing is legendary.

They host a surprising mix of live performances, with a lot of talent you'd normally only catch at less intimate venues.

Great spot for vegetarians and vegans alike. I was a little concerned about finding such a place when spending a night in the area but I'm glad restaurants like this exist around here! Everything was tasty and well worth the trip

Truly delicious food and welcoming wait staff. I rented their upstairs space through airbnb. The place has been beautifully renovated and the back porch which overlooks their garden is inspiring. The food tastes just like they say local sourced; in fact plucked from their back garden. I can't wait to go back and try more stuff and hear some of the amazing musical acts they have coming in.

The vegetarian options are great- wholesome and full of delicious flavors! My boyfriend eats meat, but loves it too and always asks to come back. He's lactose intolerant and loves the vegan cheese and vegan cakes.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal! They were clear and helpful about all the vegan options (There were many). Quesadilla, soup, vegan BLT and reuben and desserts were all delicious!!! We can't wait to go back when we're in the area.
