The Upstate Tavern

Stopped in for a snack. Darryl, the bartender, was great. We had spinach dip and the bread was very airy and light. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went to Turning Stone Casino so he could pick up his Syracuse Crunch hockey season tickets. We decided to do dinner at the Upstate Tavern. He ordered the Chuck Tavern Burger medium well and I started with the French Onion Soup (which was a special) and my main course was Beef on a Weck. Fries accompanied both dinners. Everything was served promptly. Marty's burger was cooked to perfection. My Beef on a Weck was absolutely delicious. A meal not to be passed up. French Onion Soup was delicious but not very warm. Price was reasonable. Amy, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. Definitely a must stop for a good meal.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight at the tavern. Our server was very sweet and the manager was very gracious, she made sure we enjoyed everything and she was always there to help the staff. All in all a nice dinner in a enjoyable environment.

I'll be real, we had reservations for the steakhouse but left there to come here, that's how good it is. The atmosphere is great, servers are friendly and quick, and the food is honestly some of the best we have ever had. Drinks were damn good as well. We would never normally order a meatloaf dinner anywhere but for some reason my wife really wanted to try it and let me tell you, that was the tastiest meal I may have ever had in my life. No joke, try it and you'll be very happy that you did. Definitely visit this place if you're looking to enjoy a good meal!

atmosphere is neat. usually when coming here, you gotta hit it at the right time as there’s typically a wait but in the meantime you can go walk around or sit down in the lounge so at least there’s options. food is average, nothing too special id say but it’s still good. their truffle fries are pretty good

First visit and huge milestone for me. I am very old and have never eaten salmon in my life. Always wanted to but afraid I wouldn't like it. Last night our waiter, Arman, said that if you don't like it, we would be happy to replace it with anything else off the menu. Well folks, let me tell you......it was the most magical protein I've ever had. Loved, loved it. All the food was just fantastic and the service was great. Sorry about the half eaten plate photo, I dove in and didn't even think about photo until I was half way through. Chef Yolanda, you made a believer out of me. You changed a persons whole life with one dish. Thank you.

At Turning Stone for our youngest son’s wedding. We stopped at Upstate Tavern for some lunch. So glad we did! We both got the beef on weck, holy cow….it was so tender & juicy. The meat on it could have fed two people. However, we both finished ours! Drinks were on point. And the service was great! Stopped in a few more times, during our long weekend. It was great every time.

I wanted to share with you regarding our wonderful experience at the upstate Tavern. Our waiter was Rita REDA and he was amazing. He would be the reason I would come back again and again he was so cordial. He was so caring he was just so wonderful to us me and my two girlfriends! He made our dining experience amazing. Just wanted to tell you, I have check number 922841 and we were table number 30 on December 8. You have a wonderful employee there. I can’t wait to come back again!

The NY strip was cooked perfectly. The potatoes it came with were just okay. Could use more seasoning. The beef on weck sandwich was delicious. The soft pretzels were definitely a must with the amazing mustard sauce. The Mac and cheese bites were some of the best I've had. They weren't dry like you get at most places.
Our waiter was very absent. Only saw him when we ordered and when we paid.

The Upstate Tavern at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino is a great mix between-if you want to dress up or super casual. I love this place because of it's modern barn like finish on the inside. The wait staff was super accommodating and very quick, the restaurant was also very clean. I highly recommended 1the chicken riggies; yum yum yum.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere here friendly and laid back. Really wanted to try their boozy milkshakes but the food was so good we were too full both times we ate there. Staff was great the one guy bringing the food to the table had a great sense of humor and made us laugh each time.

A great option for reasonably priced food and drinks at Turning Stone. Large bar with plenty of table seating. Great drink selection with high quality liquors and beers. Delicious speciality cocktails. There could be a wait as it's popular.

Quick, friendly service. Drinks at the bar were delicious and hand crafted! I had a Moscow mule and my husband had a signature cocktail. The Binghamton Speidie Skewers were to die for!! All the food was served promptly and hot. Chai cheesecake and fresh coffee were the perfect end to our meal!

I had poutine here for the first time and it was amazing! Then I had the corn chowder which was tasty and I also had the Carnival boozy milkshake which I highly recommended 10/10 👌🏽

Beautiful restaurant nicely decorated. Food, drinks and service was excellent. Will go again when in the area.
