Kid-friendly (pizza themed toys to keep kids busy--so cool!), very tasty food, very clean dining room.
My toddler and I split a pepperoni pizza, loaded fries, and the chicken Parm sub. I love the party cut on the pizza. The fries and sandwich were so good! A really great family-owned place.

We are from Dayton and my husband found this place on a whim just because we were going to be in town. Everything was so GOOD! The Texas tenderloin was out of this world! We also had the chicken Parmesan sub, wings and fries. We will definitely be back to try the pizza!

We found this restaurant when we were at the Tour De Donut. The restaurant looks old-school but clean. The service was excellent, and the food didn't take too much time to serve. Their pizzas are thin-crust and fresh so that you can enjoy the toppings more. The owner was amiable and introduced us to how he came out with the idea of the menu with the connection with Buckeyes. If you have a chance to drive by Troy, Ohio, be sure to give it a try.

We ordered while we were on I75 and when we arrived our pizza was hot fresh and done. These folks greeted me as I walked in the door, their place was very clean and the pizza was awesome, I recommend this place for all hungry travelers, they also had some yummy lil cakes and breads for sale too. An added plus was they are a small busy and I'm definitely all about that! We ordered the Trojan Horse, yum yum, stop in and get ya some 🍕🍕😃✌

Excellent family run pizza place. Good place to get take out, watch game and eat pizza and has both drive thru and sit down area. Food is classic American pizzeria type and well done with unique dishes (pumpkin twists are really good). So this would be solid pizzeria option for last weekends or busy weeknights.

So glad our family stopped in for lunch yesterday. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We had Detroit style pizza and a thin crust very delicious! Can't wait to go back and try some other items on the menu. Thank you MattyQ for such a great experience ☺

Went tonight with my family and I have to say that everything was phenomenal. Hubby and I shared their new chicken sandwich, our son had a pepperoni and black olives pizza and our daughter had the chicken tenders and fries. Food came out hot and fresh and just how we ordered it. We will for sure be back and we will recommend this place to everyone

The food is great, and has a special flare to it. It's all served fresh and is a great value! What more can you ask for, it's a step above the rest. Great for larger groups too! We had a party of 12. Clean store. It's clear they take a lot of pride in the business!

Very good pizza with good prices. The owner Matt is very easy to talk to in a very friendly person. He seems to treat his employees very well. I definitely will be back soon.

This was my family’s first time having pizza from here and it’s a solid 10/10! This is the only photo that I could manage it was SO good and it went SO fast!! We had the veggie pizza, the Hawaiian pizza, and the cheese garlic bread. Everything was delicious, I can’t say that enough! The customer service was also top notch and pricing was also excellent!

This was my first time trying The Trojan Horse, after having it highly recommended by some friends. They weren't wrong. The pizza was terrific, and they also offer a variety of other foods, subs, ice cream, and even a small coffee bar. The prices were very reasonable, the service was friendly, courteous, and quick. Definitely worth the stop for lunch or dinner. I will be trying them again soon.

Nice little pizza & subs establishment. Simple and delicious. Free wifi, they should post the password, but the waitress was able to give that to us. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Had the pepperoni Detroit style pizza. The guy behind the counter was a fantastic sport at explaining to me what it is and seemed to genuinely have my best interest in mind. Atmosphere was relaxed and I loved it, well be back again for sure!

Food is ALWAYS great, we love the service and Mike always stops by and checks in us. Love the pizzas, subs, fried mushrooms and salads...YUMMM

Stopped in for dinner, had the Buckeye blitz and fries, best steak and cheese sandwich in town and my husband had the Trojan Horse pizza which again great pizza. Great food and as always TERRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

Awesome local pizza place serving phenomenal pizza - especially the Detroit style and cauliflower crusts. Extremely friendly service every time. Love having MattyQ’s in Troy!

This little hidden gem is amazing!!! So many menu options and their pizzas are tasty and fresh. They even have a cauliflower crust as well for those carb watchers. I personally love the location. For those in Troy who live on the south side it is great to place your order and then hit the drive thru window. Service is great and really friendly. This is a MUST try!!! Super convenient.

My wife and I got subs. Amazing! The place is clean and pretty new. I really like the owner. Nice guy, helpful and fun. Looking forward to trying some more things from the menu.

Spent the morning checking out barn sales and decided to get something to eat in the local area. The service is great! The pizza was great too and so was the jalapeños popper cheese bread. Saved the best for last, they have desserts so I picked up a few different cupcakes and YUM, the lemon raspberry is delicious! Totally recommend the Trojan Horse!!!

Thank you MattyQ for providing a solid pizza option that is not a franchise in Tipp / Troy. Pepperoni and onion Pizza and pretzel bites with beer cheese dipping sauce disappeared quickly with my family. The place was busting at the seams when we picked up our carry out and i spotted the taco pizza which looked amazing so that is on deck for the next trip back to mattyqs. FYI… They got cupcakes too!

First time in there, it was for Customer Appreciation from Metronet. Best pizza I have had in a long time, deep fried dill pickles were spot on. Was able to watch sports in a friendly atmosphere . I definitely will return soon
