Been coming here for years and I swear it gets better every time. Portions are great and filling, food is always hot, I've never been disappointed with China Panda. My fiance and I recently have been on a sushi kick and China Panda makes quite possibly the best sushi I've had in my life. Highly recommend the Cortland Roll as well as the Pikachu Roll!! They have a customer for life. Best Chinese and Japanese food in Athens.

The food is honestly really great 👍🏻 I order hot & sour soup , vegetable lo Mein and egg roll . I would say it’s one of the best flavors of all the Chinese places I’ve tried. I’ve tried their sushi to it’s really great also

I've been coming here for the past 2 years now, and I'd say it's definitely my favorite Chinese place. My personal favorite is the chicken and broccoli, but a bunch of their poultry and shrimp dishes are really great

Little unknown gem udon noodle soup to die for best sweet tea in athens no doubt friendly caring truly kind and super delicious if it wasn't. I'd say so two thumbs up

Small dine in room, but still has a decent amount of tables. The server was friendly and kept our water filled the whole time. The food was good and they had options on both a Chinese and Japanese menu. They also have lunch specials on both menus. Enjoyed our experience, would definitely visit again.

Large menu with a bigger selection than most Chinese restaurants. Several pages of the menu were dedicated to the Japanese food and sushi. It was very clean and had a more upscale feel but still had affordable/typically priced items as well as more specialty items. All of the food was delicious and the plating was very nice. I will definitely be back!

Live 30 minutes away, normally travel opposite direction from where the location is. Last trip here went to Athens just for the restaurant!

Food and menu options are GREAT!! Love the combinations and assortment that they offer!!

Only thing I would consider is finding a bigger location. Was there on a Friday at dinner time and expected the location to be busy. I understand that there probably was a lot of people wanting take out. Just seemed cramped at that time.

Always really good Chinese food. Spicy dishes are generally not that spicy so request extra spicy if you want. Our Christmas Eve tradition.

When the wife and I moved to town we asked everyone who had the best Chinese food in-town, half dozen people told us China Panda!

I have reviewed other customer input that rated this place a 1star…. I was in shock by what I read. When it comes to restaurants I hardly give a 5 star. I have eaten Chinese food in 7 other countries and I have eaten Chinese from west coast to east coast in the states. China Panda is one of the best I have ever had.

As for the service yes it can be slow, but you have to take in account that the husband is in the back cooking and the wife is serving the tables, however the service minus that was great.

As for the food, it has been so long since I have had really good sweet and sour chicken, and the wonton soup had amazing broth. My wife was craving there chicken soup today so I drove 30 min each way just for soup 😅.

When it comes to restaurants you get what you pay for and the food here is worth the price they ask for. If you want a even greater bank for your buck, come for there lunch special. As for those who complain about price, everything everywhere has gone way up and we have to take all those things in consideration when review places.

The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. You feel like you can sit down and enjoy your company over, I dare say, the best Chinese and Japanese cuisine in Athens. There are other places that are close 2nd and 3rds, but China Panda edges past the rest. The others are good at one or two things. The noodles at Fusion Noodle are spectacular, for example. But that's about all they do better than China Panda. It’s a really good eat in or takeout restaurant. To God be the glory.

6/17/21 We ordered take out, as they don't have their dining room open. The food was delicious as usual, but there was no sweet and sour sauce (red sauce) included for my sweet and sour chicken. Also, chicken wings (appetizer) were really small this time. Food is always delicious, but until they open their dining room, be sure everything is in bag.

Have been going to China Panda for years and the food never disappoints. My favorite is the Beef Rice Noodle and Wonton Egg Drop soup.

I have gone here for years and the food has never ever disappointed! Such a wide variety of food to choose from and excellent staff! Super friendly and clean restaurant. Can't wait to come back home to eat here again definitely worth the drive.

I love this little restaurant. The staff is so friendly, the food was delicious. I loved there sushi. Most Chinese restaurants are buffet style and if you don't go st a certain time the food is not great. This place makes it fresh there is no buffet.

Definitely my favorite Chinese place in town. My favorite go-to dishes are the steamed pork dumplings and the kung-pao beef. Also love the crab rangoon and egg drop soup. My husband is a big fan of the orange beef and eel sushi. We probably eat there at least once a week 😅 10/10 recommend

I am from out of state and I am very choosy about my Chinese food. I really liked it, everything I had was delicious. I would go back if ever in town again
