It is a relaxing place to go and sit by the lake or to take a walk. Two playgrounds for kids to play. Lots of pavilions and picnic tables throughout the park. Also, a log cabin and other building with kitchen and restroom facilities. We have celebrated a lot of milestones there, including our wedding, graduations, anniversaries, and birthdays. Great family park.

One of my favorite parks in alliance! Would recommend not being to fast to run to the ducks or they get scared . Slowly approaching them with food and they will eat from your hand ! Just don't try to make loud noises while they are near u or they will probably stop eating from your hand and run away from u. There's many parts to the park and the lake is so beautiful!

A busy, lovely park to visit. The ducks and geese rule the pond and the baseball fields see daily use. The park is a popular spot to walk with locals.

Very nice park. Perfect for family cook outs or picnic lunch. Small pond with ducks to feed and nice playground. Even has exercise equipment.

Silver Park has always been an “iconic” NE Ohio park. With a beautiful ducks pond, baseball/softball fields, covered pavilions, and plenty of green space for family activities, Silver Park should be your next go to for your family event! Hey Alliance, let’s revamp the amphitheater!

Such a beautiful park and so much to do! From playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball court, outdoor exercise machines, walking trails, pavilions, and of course the pond! I love it all!

Oh, who doesn't remember Silver Park ? I was young, but the memories of skating on the ice will live in my heart forever.the duck island, the geese
Pavillion to eat or have a reunion. Grilling tennis and watching a baseball game . The playgrounds for kids and bathrooms uh yuck but it is a park. Walking with boyfriend and just sitting in the grass reading a good book. Parking free . See ya there

Update: now that I have toddlers, the park is still good but not necessarily "the best". The lower play area has multiple places where small children could fall from great heights. But it still a really good park and will grow with us as our small family grows. The upper playground is more tailored for smaller children, but it does not provide many opportunities for group play as it's not very busy. The outdoor gym adjacent to this playground is nice though for parents.

Original review: 3 yrs ago (5 stars):
Best park in the area because it has a little bit of everything.

Multiple play grounds for the younger children. Basketball, baseball and tennis for older. Flat areas and hills. The hills are well used in winter for sledding. Secluded areas for romantic walks but also open walking paths. Beautiful sights all year round if you like photography. And the pond with its little bridge where you can watch or feed the ducks.

Very clean park with standard playground equipment. Friendly kids and parents while we were there. What I loved was that there was plenty of open space for the kids to run. Beautiful scenery as well.

You can feed the ducks, there's a playground with a small rock wall, a creek with a bridge, a walking trail that goes back into the woods, it's a very beautiful place.
They also have private Party Rooms/Cabins up at the top of the hill for Birthday Parties, Baby Showers, and more.

This is a peaceful park with a lovely pond filled with ducks and fish. There are picnic tables scattered about, gazebos, sports areas for: tennis, basketball, baseball, and lots of open field space for other sports. There are pavillions for rent at very reasonable prices and a log cabin also. There are some unofficial trails through the trees for the sure footed youth and a paved walking circle around the pond. Most all areas are wheelchair accessible if I remember correctly, and there are bathroom facilities that are handicapped accessible.

A lovely little park for walking the dog or letting the kids use the playground. Fireworks every July 4th, and often the spot for boy and girl scout Troup meetings.

Very cool little park. We attended uncle Corki’s 100th birthday celebration there in the lodge. Picnic tables were a little hard for some of the older folks, but it had A/C and some outdoor seating overlooking the pond. Wildlife was plentiful and people seemed to enjoy the paved walking paths.
