This museum has been lovingly curated and it's well worth a visit! We decided to stop by on a whim while driving past. They have an incredible collection from all over the world, curated over the past 100 years. There are crystals of many varieties, petrified wood, fossils, and unique minerals with interesting shapes and colors. I expected a tiny collection but it's actually quite large. Expect to spend at least 20 minutes walking through, but you could spend over an hour looking at everything in detail. While the museum is unimpressive from the outside, the collection inside is really something special. Great for kids or adults!

A 'hidden gem' on the side of the road. There are huge crystals in here from all over the world that are phenomenal. If you are going to Cave of the Mounds be sure to stop here too! There is also horseback riding.

Fun little rock museum. Nice 30 minute break from other tours. Admission is $10 for adults.

An amazing collection of crystals and minerals from the local mines as well as from around the world. The shop owner was so kind and knowledgeable, giving me much time & attention as I browsed the extensive collection. If you're a rock enthusiast like I am you'll want to check this place out. Well worth the price of admission. Left with two specimens from the gift shop that were also reasonably priced!

This museum is small and located right outside of a state park, couldn't have a better location. The guy definitely knows his stuff about rocks, minerals and crystals. Loved the walk through of the museum, so many different beautiful things to see. Sucks that the card reader was broken during our visit, will definitely be making a trip back to buy some of the minerals and crystals.

If you are in the area this is a very nice stop. Senior admission for us was $6. There is a good assortment of well lit rocks and crystals on display including local and foreign specimens. The owner was friendly and informative. We spent about an hour and we are happy we visited.

This treasure is absolutely a rockhound's dream. The best museum for rocks that I've seen yet. Cost was $7/ adult and $4/ child. Well worth every penny.

The owner was an absolute treasure of a man as well. If he's not busy, get him chatting and enjoy the experience!

I LOVE this place! The owner is very knowledgeable and kind. There is a dark room in the museum to showcase flourescent stones. There are interesting pieces for sale at rather unbelievable prices. Today I got Garnet, Tourmaline, Flourite, Calcite, and an amazing piece from Morrocco with Blue Barite and Chalcopyrite. I already have my eye on something else for next time.
