OK...this is just an oddity.
we stopped in Boise City, Oklahoma to fuel up during our cross-country drive. We checked Google Maps, which gave us 3 options for the next leg; we selected the OK-235 route. After ~40 minutes of driving, the pavement literally ended at this Bronosaurus femur. Who could resist a random dinosaur bone in the middle of nowhere?!
Decision Time. Turnaround or press forward?
We chose to follow Google Maps and drive north on the dirt "road" for another 30 miles of true adventure and high plains beauty.

It's a replica of a brontosaurus femur. I crossed into Oklahoma from Colorado at midnight under a full moon on confusing dirt roads, with no phone signal. The landmark bone, though fake, told me I was going the right way. Whew! Five stars.

Fun, free, quick, roadside attraction. The parking area needs work. It's small and easy to miss. Wish there were informational signs.

Didn't see it when I drove by the first time. I had to turn around to come back to it. There's a "path" that's almost straight up the hillside right to it. And there is another path off to the side, it's not as steep. So definitely look out for that. Pretty neat, but could use some roadside indicators or something.

Replica of a bone.. nothing else. Would have been cool if there was a plaque explaining a little about it and why it's there

So, the fact that this is an identified place to visit on Google maps is humerous (or should I say femurous...) in and of itself. This is a concrete structure that shows you what a dinosaur bone would look like. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this 'tourist' attraction but if you're driving by it is well worth a 10 minute stretch and a picture.
