Agave & Rye Troy

Today I had a jalapeño pineapple margarita. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had! We also had corn Fritters with a spicy/sweet dip. Sooooo delicious! We each had burritos also. Our server was wonderful as always! This time on our bill we noticed a merchant fee. We asked our server and she said its something the owners came up with for business costs. She took the fee off our bill. We love Agave & Rye. We even drive from Springfield to eat there. The cost of drinks and food is pricier than other places we could go. We pay it because it's very different and good, but please don't charge us more.

We decided to have a girls' day and started here. The food was fantastic! The margaritas are sneaky lol. Brian is a fantastic server. If the weather is nice, sit outside!

Very good, flavorful & unique food! We live out of state now, but have to visit when we’re home! If y’all want to start a franchise on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, you’ll have to give us a shout. 😊 The chicken street tacos are my jam!!

This was our first time and it was the best. Rosie was our server not only was she very nice, but she was very knowledgeable and helpful and her service. The food was perfect. I loved it. I do recommend 10 out of 10.

Wow! Gorgeous art all around, the decor was stunning. Food delicious, and unexpected! While I wholeheartedly will never try the kangaroo on the menu - I am excited to try their other dishes! I got the Ninja, and it was so different but delightfully tasty! The free arcade games in the back was a nice addition too!

On a whim we stopped in for cocktails. The outside was welcoming, and the inside was a blast of vibrancy and color. Eclectic, with beautiful art everywhere. We both had old fashions, with Angels Envy. Handmade right in front of us, and probably the best I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back and try the food. Great atmosphere, and an awesome crew.

I would highly recommend this place. The food was amazing. The restaurant is very unique but the service as great. If you want an excellent taco experience come here.

Agave is a very uplifting, artistic, vibrant and of course tasty + gourmet “epic” tacos restaurant with a very eclectic atmosphere. I have had the epic taco, the filthy fajita and of course the Kangaroo named “The Big Thumper.” Yea I’m pretty sure this place is the only restaurant in the area that I can get an artisan Kanga meal …. In a flour tortilla. The gourmet tacos were quite plenty to make this place a meal destination. Add the flair, the art, the good service and stuff that you just can’t get everywhere else plus value add a menu that works for my picky kids also same time. It’s an all around. It costs a little bit but they deliver. Some places do one or two things right. This place got the atmosphere, food quality, service and location on lock. The art is value add but we’ll appreciated. Margarita Monday! Not to mention the Dale Chihuly glass work. Wow!

If I lived in Troy I'd be here all the time. The margaritas are house-made, no pre-mix. The tacos are huge and have a wide variety, and an app and one taco are a decent meal for the portion size. My only criticism is that the menu is on the pricey end, but recently everything costs more. They do have happy hour and daily specials. I appreciate the creativity of the menu, use of quality and housemade ingredients. The service is top notch - Sherri (not sure if it's an I or a Y) makes you feel welcome immediately and gave great recommendations. They also have an arcade room! As well as indoor, patio, and bar seating. I really look forward to revisiting.

The food was amazing! I had the brussel sprouts and "Big Thumper" kangaroo taco. I would definitely recommend the brussel sprouts as an appetizer (I have nothing but good things to say about the brussel sprouts) and the taco was good too, except the kangaroo wasn't seasoned at all and perhaps a bit overdone as it tasted like a plain well-done steak. But the flavor of the other taco ingredients helped it a lot and made it a great taco overall. The restaurant itself is pretty quirky and fun, and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly. Service did seem a little slow, though, considering my fiancé and I were one of only 3 tables; I imagine that you could expect longer waits for your food if the restaurant is packed.

Agave & Rye was absolutely amazing!!! The food was nothing short of incredible! The selection of different bourbons and tequilas was out of this world for the area!! Maggie was our server and she was totally awesome even my little black pug yogurt loved her from the start!! So friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I have girls 3 & 5 and they couldn't wait for her to come back with our order. We felt completely at home! We all loved it and the prices weren't bad for the dishes that we all enjoyed!! We will definitely be dining there again in the near future!! The patio is pet friendly and Yogi approved!! Thanks to the entire staff that made it a meal to remember! Almost forgot the old school arcade games WOW!!! A fabulous place for the whole family!!!

Unique decor and incredible, unique tacos! Free old school arcade in the back. Vegan options available. Guacamole is spicy!

We have been here a few times food is really good atmosphere can be really loud at times and service has always been good this place is a definite try if you are in the area

Wow! Very nice change in pace from
the usual lunch stop choices.I’ve never seen such a creative select of tacos! Where to start? We asked which were the favorites and chose one each, which was plenty for us. I had the herbed chicken and it was scrumptious! The combination hard corn tortilla and the soft flour tortilla was a welcome touch. I see this is a chain and we’ll be on the lookout for others in our travels.

The Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita was to die for! I got Tajin on the rim and honestly I’d go back just for this drink! We got the chips, birria tacos, birria burrito, burger wrap, it was all so great! The burrito wrap was HUGE. You could split it between two people for sure!

Went to Agave and Rye Tuesday night for dinner and had Rosalinda as our server. She was great! She had several suggestions for us when we asked about the menu, communicated well about potential delays in the kitchen due to a large party, was attentive but not hovering, and was quick to bring us things we requested. I had to recognize her job well done and I hope she is there the next time I stop in.

Your mind will be blown at the artisan style tacos! The Crown Jewel is our favorite. Many to choose from including excellent veggie options! A fabulous place to dine! You won't be sorry!

Waited almost 40 minutes for 5 adults and a baby. No worries, it’s a Saturday night. Brian our waiter was great. He was funny, personable, had great suggestions, and the passing was great.
Great menu. I think I could eat here for at least a month straight and not get bored.
We will be back soon!

Great food. Pricy, but hey, the wife and I are worth it!
