It's a beautiful place, the only problem I have is that homesteaders Homestead here to make it so other people who want to enjoy the outdoors really can't.the campsites are taken. I was lucky to get four days in one without full hookups. I tried to make reservations a few times and they were book. I had to come here to see if I could get a spot. Well luck of the draw I got a spot 1 night and had to move next day to another spot and so it is really inconvenient. I will give this place five stars for the beauty of the place. But they need to work on how many days a person can be in a camp spot. I've been here 3 days and have seen 6 camp sites in this loop that have parked Rigs or trailers there and have not seen one person at any of them. So if you want to come for the day! That's great but to camp Good luck!

This is our first time staying here and we are pretty impressed. Great amenities for RVs with asphalt lots with electricity, water, fire pit and picnic tables. Not all lots have sewer. There are private showers and clean bathrooms. Also there is a 2 washer/2 drier laundry facility which is rare with state parks. I believe some of the issues people are having is that with some of the lots, people are having a difficult time leveling their rig because of the hills. I would definitely be staying here again if we are passing through

Spent 4 nights here. Love the firepit setup. Pretty quiet place late in the season. Our site had some tree's that helped give shade late in the day. Good showers and restrooms. Will return.

Amazing spot, HS049. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Site was very clean and we had power and water hookups. We could walk down the hill to the water in 5 minutes.

Been coming since I was very young. Always have had a fantastic visit. They pressure wash sites after each use so they are fresh and clean. They are spread out far enough that you don't feel overly crowded. Shade can be an issue but that's just the nature of the area. Sites are pretty big but the pull throughs are even larger. The Murdock Way loop is the most popular as it's close to the water. Campground can get full so always reserve ahead of time.

This is my favorite place to spend outdoor time with my family! The walk in camp sites are so amazing. Being 2 feet from the water is so great!
The entire park is just so wonderful.

Good clean campground with enough space in between spots in most places. The raised fire pits are very nice. Great showers, bathrooms and even a laundromat. My kids liked the playground. Good fishing and kayaking nearby too. Only complaint is dumpsters seem to be few and far between.

This campground is BEAUTIFUL. It is so peaceful and the water is amazing. Such a wonderful space to enjoy the outdoors with family a friends on paddleboards, boats, jetskis, canoes, kayaks, tubes, or just to swim. The bathrooms were clean which is a plus as they arent always so nice at other campgrounds. We spent almost 6 hours there with kids ranging from 20 months to 14 years and adults of all ages and everyone had a blast.

A word to the wise though: make sure everyone has water shoes! You'll regret it if you don't. The shores are rocky and there are lots of hidden sticks and bigger rocks in the water. Other than that it's perfect!

Great campsite. Playgrounds are awesome for the little kids. Accessibility to the sandy beach is great. Not to mention flushing toilets and showers. It's almost too good to be true.
