Up and Running In Troy

Great place for all kinds of shoes. Walking, running, trail, and track and field. The employees will make your visit special. They spend a lot of time getting to know what you’re looking for, then analyzing your feet and gate to determine what would work best for you. They also have a great variety of accessories to go along with those shoes. I highly recommend stopping by either the Troy or Dayton store. You won’t regret it.

First time to this store. They do everything for you except walk in your new shoes😁 Exceptionally nice staff. Very helpful, especially when it comes to taking care of your feet.👣👟

The team here was incredibly welcoming. Our rep took her time to make sure we got what we needed and was so patient. The other employee was super great with our two kids keeping them entertained (way above and beyond). This is my husband’s second time in and my first and I can say it won’t be my last

I need inserts for my problem feet. They always know and have exactly what I need. Also have lots of great athletic shoes and clothing.

I went back to U&R today to look at shoes. I can't remember the name of the young man who helped me, but I was very pleased. He listened carefully to me and offered several helpful suggestions. I did buy a new pair of shoes thanks to his expertise.

From measuring my feet, to offering several options of shoes to choose, to suggesting the right socks ,and even sharing knowledge of nutrition. Up and Running will have you covered for all your needs!

You pay for quality but they have the best shoes my wife swears by them. It is all she will wear for (Work) and Home.

Hayden, in Troy, was incredible!!! My feet are much different after having one foot reconstructed. He measured and brought out five styles that he thought could work. And he even stayed 30 minutes after closing time to give me time to select what would work best. What a great experience. Yes, I bought the shoes! Thanks Hayden!

Bobby was knowledgeable and took the time to evaluate and educate me. He didn't push any products but let me know what might help me. Very excited to get going again.

Great job, Up and Running (Troy)-

Nearly immediately upon entry I was greeted by all of the employees working. Even though they were busy, they still made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Evan assisted me in my shoe selection. I appreciate how extremely pleasant my experience with Evan was. He was very patient, polite, and adamant about getting me into a shoe that I truly loved. He brought me 11 or 12 different pairs of shoes, all with styles and structures to ensure my stability, comfort, and support requirements were met. Not once did he sigh, seem frustrated, become impatient, or irritated with how indecisive I was. I must say it had to be the best experience I’ve ever had while shopping for shoes. I even got a pair of socks!!

The store is well laid out and clean. All staff were friendly, helpful, cheerful, and informative. Now, I have shoes that truly fit me and my health goals needs.

This stellar staff uses their expert knowledge and resources to create the best possible experience. I loved and appreciate every minute of "leveling up" and learning more about my physical well being and how their services/products can help me. Great running shoes store in Troy at 769 W Market St. (and in Dayton at 6123 Far Hills Ave.) where they can scan your feet and recommend running shoes and other footwear, like slides/sandals, and any inserts that might help. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. They are well stocked with many brands, models, and sizes. I buy all of my running shoes and Oofos sandals here!

Was able to get fitted for shoes and they were in stock. Very knowledgeable salesperson. No high pressure add on sales, was in and out quickly.

I have shopped here for years and have always gotten excellent customer service. I love how active Up and Running is in the community, and also that they have a weekly run group. My last shoe purchase was in the middle of COVID and Callie went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable. Great store with great people!

Just want to highly recommend Teri for being a great help with my 84 yr. old father. She fitted him and answered all his questions as he relinquished his very well aged, 'favorite walking shoes'. She was so understanding, even when the shoes she recommended didn't meet Dad's color palette. (They were black.😏)She came up with a Plan B, and Dad walked out with new shoes on his feet!🙂
