In that time, she helped us with our rental business, a short sale on a house and our move to Tampa, FL. We have and continue to refer new people to her from all over the United States. She is great at what she does and her staff is awesome to work with too. If you need an accountant, look no further!

I have used genesis for a few years now without issue. This year i might as well have done them myself. I had to constantly reach out to get paperwork, I never got emails back. Everything was “not going through” I got an automated call saying my taxes were done & when I called back to ask to have them sent to me as they usually do I once again got the answering machine. Never got a call back either thank god I called again before driving 40 mins to Lorain to confirm they were mailed to me. Then come time for the payment. $250 this year and from all the paperwork I received on my end it mentioned nothing about a price increase, unless that didn’t go through either. It’s sad because dealing with Dana the past few years was awesome I never had to worry about a thing. This year I paid $250 to beg them to get my taxes done in a timely manner & here I am just getting my paperwork and having to rush up to town hall tomorrow to wait in what will most likely be 1-3 hour long line to pay another $22. Next year I will do them myself, save myself money & not rush up to town hall on tax day.

Myself, my mom, and my daughter all had issues with this company so we left. I just had one question which I wanted to speak to the owner, Dana, about and he would not pick up the phone and talk to me. We were with this company for years when Debra owned it and were very happy. Since the new owner took over it has been awful. Stay away from them.

Sorry Genesis, but the numbers don't add up. A 125% price increase for tax preparation from the year prior is a bit hard to stomach. Sorry, I won't be back.
