Norton's of Green Lake

We hosted our wedding at Norton's in November and it was spectacular! Our guests are still raving about the food months later! The space was beautiful, the staff was well prepared and attentive, and the food was incredible. Thank you for a night to remember, Norton's!

OMG! Awesome food! Kayla our server, Lindsey our cocktail server & Sandy the hostess gave us exceptional service! The servers were right there at our table when we needed anything! They even came back to see how everything was! Those who know me from my reviews knows I NEVER give 5 stars but in this case they DESERVED it!

Classic, lovely, inviting. My only complaint is that I thought I’d branch out and try the gnocchi dish and found it odd and disappointing. I had bites of steak and pork chops from my companions and definitely had buyer’s remorse! The gnocchi was overcooked and gluey, the red sauce inappropriate, and the tomato chunks were larger than the pieces of meat! I’ll stick to the tried and true next time!

The food/drinks were great, but the service somehow trumped both! If you’re in Green Lake, WI I cannot recommend Norton’s enough (make sure to request Chris as your server; she’s the best!!!)

We are regulars at Nortons and have been coming there for more than 20 years. Besides the great atmosphere and terrific food, we come for the outstanding service provided by Chris who has waited and served our family for many of those 20 years. Chris is outstanding, always meets our needs (anticipates most of them without us asking) and we love her like family. Chris is the reason we return to Nortons as she truly makes each dining experience unique and wonderful.

Norton's accommodated our large group (10 adults, 15 children) like true pros. Brian the GM, and the 2 servers assigned to us did a great job, getting kids their food fast, great timing getting apps and drinks out, etc. Very friendly and personable staff.

Food was good, steaks cooked to order. Apps were excellent, especially the bacon wrapped scallops and firecracker shrimp. Drinks were tasty and well made - excellent whiskey/bourbon selection. Kids enjoyed their menu as a bonus.

Setting doesn't get any better than Norton's the lake views, lawn, sunsets. We all ate outside this visit, which allowed the kids to play around while the parents finished their meals. I had lunch earlier this month in the bar which is a very cool, classy atmosphere, and lunch was very reasonably priced (had a BLT).

Norton's is a gem.

Best filet mignon in 30 miles, great restaurant, with friendly servers. In my opinion, it's overpriced (because they can given the summer tourism from the greater Chicago area), but it's a solid bet for a meal.

Beautiful view, friendly and warm staff, and the food is always phenomenal. From the steaks to the walleye, all very good. Top it all off with a beautiful waterfront view, fire pit, Tiki bar, and bag toss 👍

Romantic, comfortable, and classy. Amazing views to go along with your excellent dining experience. By far the cleanest restaurant I've ever stepped foot into.

The food at Nortons is always delectable. The service is always friendly, competent, and efficient. Last visit, they thought they might be out of my wife's favorite beverage. However, a young cocktail waitress searched hi and lo till she found it! EUREKA marriage saved:)

A Green Lake staple. Wonderful staff, food, and drinks. Perhaps no better place to post up for a college football Saturday or NFL Sunday

We drove and stopped in on a nice Saturday night (8/6). Note: there is also boat parking, but sometimes it can get crowded on a busy night.

We arrived and were told by the nice hostess that the wait time would be about 30 minutes. We took the pager and went outside to order some drinks from their drink tent and had a seat. There is a nice view of Green Lake from their front lawn to relax. There are also some lawn games to occupy your time while you wait. About a half hour later, we were buzzed and sat down at our table. We had a nice view of the lake from our seats as well. We ordered some appetizers and had prime rib for the main entree. It was cooked as ordered (medium rare is the only way to eat prime rib!) and was delicious. All in all it was a nice night with some good food. We will definitely be back.

We’ve lived in this area for years and just went to Norton’s for the first time. I had the shrimp dinner and it was great! Also enjoyed pre-dinner cocktails and bartenders were very engaging and fun. Overall a very good dinner at a very nice location.

We've been coming to Norton's once a year for the last 20 years. This new owner has totally revamped the restaurant. The appetizer were excellent and we all recommend the blue cheese chips and muscles. The meals were delicious and we are very pleased with the service and speed of the meal.

We were a party of 10 on a Tuesday night and had a great experience. Great view of the lake and the bar is so Wisconsin supper club! Food was excellent and service was great. I would definitely go back! Thank you.

Norton's had us enchanted as we were seated. We were there for a quick round of drinks and appetizers. We were not disappointed in the least. Their crew was friendly, attentive, and oh so helpful. Thank you Norton's! 😁

Went to Norton’s last week and had an excellent dinner. From the Wisconsin traditional cheese curds to an absolutely wonderful beef soup (highly recommend it) and an excellent ribeye steak. My wife had the walleye which she said was perfect. I will definitely return when we visit Green Lake again.

We had read on Google reviews that if you ask for a vegan option they will provide a chef's choice. So, we did and Chef Patrick even came to our table to give a detailed description of the entree and it was exceptional! We have dined at vegan restaurants all around the world and this flavor profile and presentation was one of the best I've had. Such a pleasant surprise!
