The Village Haven

Jarred the server was excellent! Massive great prime rib. Excellent onion soup, excellent steak tips and excellent fish and chips. The house Italian dressing was excellent as well

Food was delicious...generous portions...first course ..salad was fresh and dressing creamy and tasteful... Then they bring you the rest.. roasted small potatoes, penne pasta, french fries, and platters of baked chicken pieces with tasty rolls, some cinnamon. We were 6 adults, 2 middle schoolers and 2 toddlers. They charge for the older kids...there's no children's prices. Service was excellent and all food was delicious. As much as you could eat. We had a few pieces of chicken and some potatoes left which they boxed for us to take home. I don't think their competitor close by let's you do that. We like this place better than the other. Try it on my recommendation, you won't be disappointed.

Went to this place last night, outstanding!!! Waited about 25 minutes on a Saturday (6ish). Our waiter (I believe it was Rodrigo) was awesome. The tropical sangria was on point, and the chicken Vermont was so good. One entree could have easily fed 2 people. Portions were big, prices were decent and the service was great. It was super clean too.

On the occasions I’ve been, the food has excellent! The portions are generous and obvious care and attention is spent on preparing the meals. The staff is friendly, as well, and went out of their way to make my toddler daughter feel welcome. The beef, chicken, and seafood are all high quality. Highly recommend!

Had the steak tips. They were delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. Going with friends again tomorrow. Maybe the prime rib this time.

First time not ordering Family Style. Group ordered chicken parm, eggplant parm, pot pie, and mc n cheese. Food was great and so were the portions

We had Thanksgiving dinner there and it was perfect! The service was incredible also, we sat down at 4:15, which was our reservation time, and I had a cocktail at 4:20! The food was delicious!

Chicken was moist and had favor to it, potatoes were amazing 🤩everyone loved them, spaghetti sauce is more thicker than previously, cinnamon buns were delicious, salad was so good the staff had to keep the salads coming, Long Island was very good, with the new owners this place is delicious and the food and drinks are on point 👌

Amazing prime rib, great chicken. Their specials and desserts are really good also. Just beware they often add a gratuity to the bill.

Had reservations for mother's day, at 5;15, waited to be seated til 5:45, then waitress said we're all out of chicken, big disappointment, next time we'll go to wrights

Went there with party of 21 excellent service excellent food not one of us had anything bad to say so much food we all took home a box from the cinnamon buns, calamari , Crockett to fish& chip,chicken family style , shrimp scampi, chicken parm all huge portions and really tasted good wait staff was right there for us thank you so much

The meals were absolutely phenomenal! There were 38 of us. The cook came out to meet us and received an ovation. Lilly was an awesome waitress, the service was second to none!!!

My husband and I enjoyed dinner at The Village Haven last night. He had he-man cut prime rib, I had the sword fish. Both dishes cooked to perfection, excellent and delicious. We agree with a previous post that service is above and beyond for the number of servers compared to the patrons. Never skipped a beat, attentive and cordial. The staff of server attendants (not sure what they are called these days) are young and learning. We were so impressed with the politeness of these mostly young men and it's good to see young people actually working hard. Overall a very nice evening being pampered with excellent food and service.

A wonderful restaurant.
We sat at the bar and bartenders are top notch. Drinks are enjoyable not over pours.
Village Haven is the sister of Lucky Dog which is within walking distance. If you have been to Lucky Dog, you can't miss at the Haven.

Village Haven is a must-go-to for Family style chicken. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Chicken is wonderful all the different side options are unbelievable. They don't try to push you out when you're done eating it's a great family experience and restaurant.

Pros:
Absolutely amazing place. Great atmosphere, great employees, and just a good place overall. The employees are respectful, responsible, and generally very very nice. The food is GREAT, and the cooks do an outstanding job. The place gives off a very warm feeling when you walk in, almost like you're at home. I've been here 4 times for family gatherings, and plan to go back many times.

Cons:
In the dining area, it is enclosed & very small for the amount of tables in the area. You are very crammed, and close to the people behind you. Usually, it is a pain to get back to your seat..especially in bigger tables. The policy for taking home seconds needs to be reworked. It does make sense to prevent abuse, yet if you order an extra dish of chicken, it'd cost $5 per chicken piece to take home. I don't know what, but somethings needs to be changed about it. That is just my opinion, I don't know if others would agree. 🤷‍♂
