Trail was okay but the real star of this park is the fishing. Wow!! Bite after bite from massive gar to the very aggressive Musky. Had a blast, Kids had a blast on the wave runners. One more thing, I really appreciate the well placed signage. Always felt like I knew where everything was.

What a beautiful park. We reserved the Lakeview pavilion and it was perfect for our group. Grounds were well kept and restrooms were clean. We for sure will be back for the entire day next time.

One of my favorite places to go and be in nature. Quite a few white pine if you like that kind of thing😉

Took my lady out for some sun rays and photo taking. Never have been here before. She has when she was like 6. So her description was blown a little out of proportion. It’s okay though still a decent park to walk or maybe walk the doggie.

I went here to just reflect and relax for a while (6hrs😬) and it was helpful since it wasn't very crowded. It was also on a day a severe winter weather advisory was in effect so perhaps that had something to do with the limited crowd, who knows. Anyways.. because of the life I've been living the past couple of years I often find authority figures like park rangers or police to be more on the disappointing or harassing side of things and jump to being defensive when I'm approached by them. A park ranger pulled up beside me and asked if I was alright and I immediately jump into self defense mode stating I'm not bothering anyone or breaking any laws I'm just there with my dogs blah blah but he calmly stated I'm not doing anything wrong. He then asked again if I'm alright and I realized he was coming from a genuine place and not just trying to use his authority to chase me away because some ignorant person complained, or at least if they had he didn't use that approach when he pulled up. I gave him the 50/50 hand gesture and tried to divert attention away from how I am by talking about online shopping. When he left I sat there in my car until the snow started accumulating and the freezing wind was blowing the car from side to side. Then next day I broke down during a conversation with a friend bc it was the first time in quite some time that someone asked how I was and I'm not ok. Thank you to the park ranger for genuinely asking how I was, although I didn't share and we didn't have some long drawn out conversation about my mental health, living situation or childhood it was something I didn't realize I needed. I guess this is less of a review about the park than it is about the experience at the park but I wanted to comment about it just the same. I hope everyone that visits this park walks away feeling better about some part of their life the way I did. Thank you, again, to the park ranger who helped me see good people still exist.

Great long walk to escape. Mile long new wellness walk from SC Mental Health is awesome... Lots of benches and great scenery. Is about .8 mile around, takes about 12 to 15 minutes around, even has great little coves for fishing and absolutley beautiful in autumn.

Beautiful and well maintained walking path. Perfect located for a nice stroll. Lots of parking, paved walking path, and multiple picnic areas with tables.

A fun place to visit with a family or friends. There's a nice lake with plenty of access for fishing with kids. There are several walking trails here that are primarily flat and easy walking. It's not uncommon to see Amish buggies and horses here. The Amish fish here, especially on Saturdays.

Such a nice quiet place to relax, walk/jog, go fishing, walk your dog. I've only been on the trail around the pond (1.22 miles) but I love coming here when I dont feel like going to the gym.

Great little lake to hang out with my boys and fish. They've caught bass, catfish, blue gills and rainbow trout here. Pretty amazing for the size, really!

Great park with pavilions for parties, track for walking and a pond for fishing. Several times a year they hold fishing derbies for the local youth. My only suggestion is to watch out for the goose droppings in the grass because they are abundant.

A beautiful place to walk. The main paths are easy to walk with crushed stone under your feet, while there are a couple of other paths that are mowed. The trees and lake make this a peaceful setting.

I love taking my pup, Phebie here for walks. There's plenty of paths & plenty of Porta Potty & plenty of trash cans. The Mindfulness Walk is awesome !

Great park for everyone. We seen several people fishing, people running the trail. It's I believe 1.2 miles around the lake. Highly recommend the park.

Nice morning walk. Not many on track. Track is in good condition. Now I made room for more turkey! Several decorated rocks laying around so keep eyes open and find some gems!

Homestly i love this park from its spacious areas to fish, to the long path you can walk around the pond, not to mention there are three individual parking lots one in the back and one on the side then the one in the front, also i believe you can reserve a pavilion to have a little party and they have outdoor grills you bring your own charcoal to grill on!! But honestly, the scenery takes the cake!
