Red River Public Library

While in Red River, I had a few online meetings and some general work to get done. My TMobile hotspot had limited service, so I headed to the RR Library. It was FANTASTIC! Late Aug, so temps were perfect to work outside. I setup on their patio… view and WiFi was perfect. Highly recommend if you have to work while on vacation 👍❤

Librarian Holly is one of the most wonderful, helpful. and accommodating people you could ask for in a public role. And the library, itself, is amazingly up to date with all the amenities you'd expect in a much larger town. Congrats!

We visited the library the second week of July. The director, Kerry, was so helpful and answered all my geeky library questions.

They have a good selection of DVDs and music, as well as the current popular fiction titles. There are internet access computers and a Southwest Room which highlights the history of the area. Be sure to check out the Red River Characters wall. It was very entertaining.

This is a delightful surprise! It is an up to date library that will interest, educate and entertain one every visit.
