I absolutely adore their food. Every time I dine there, the quality is consistently outstanding and truly delicious. And to top it off, my dear pookie bear, Abraham, works there. He's undoubtedly the best server I've ever encountered. But it's not just him; every server on staff is remarkable and incredibly helpful.

This beautiful young man named Abraham was my server. He was the best server I have ever had. Very social and intelligent. He also made sure I always had water and constantly checked up. The food was amazing, but Abrahams service was better.

Definitely 5 stars 👍 Some of the best Carnitas I've ever found and a darn good Cadillac Margherita. These guys give a whole new meaning to the phrase "running food" to the tables - they were all just about running. The entire staff is excellent, on the ball , fast, and friendly. Starting with the opening chips n salsa , everything is top shelf. Wish iived nearby, you should go eat here at least once a week. Fyi - that's a 'junior' burrito , portions are large , and whatever is in that chips salsa is darn good stuff.

Hailey location is on point too. Their red sauce is from heaven.

The fish platter was excellent. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly, served with green rice and avacado salad

Had a great dinner the other night. Food was good. My toddler even enjoyed all of it (wasn't expecting her to like anything with some spice). My friends enjoyed their drinks and food too. Service was great even on a busy Tuesday.

Cold beer, crispy chips, delicious salsa, great service. Great spot. Really enjoyed late afternoon beers and nachos.

This place has the best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Hands down. I loved the chimichanga meal that I got, too. Thank you to Sara and other members of the wait staff for excellent service and friendly warmth. I can't wait for my next visit to Hailey and to La Cabanita. Yum!

Quite simply some of the best Mexican food I’ve eaten.

I tired the combination platter. The chicken Tamale is first in class, the enchilada with pork deserves to be famous, and the steak taco delicious though I would prefer a corn taco shell to the flour it comes with—because I love corn shells for tacos.

Space is big and set up for a quick turn around and service is spot on. Food came quickly.

Great place to go with friends or family. Servers are very nice. Kenneth was my server and did exceptionally well. Overall awesome place and recommend to anyone who’s looking for a great Mexican restaurant to check out.

Casual dining, cheerful decor and great food keep us coming back. Highly recommend the carnitas.

Big clean open dining room, fast friendly service, extensive menu, not fancy, good food at great prices. The waiter brings free fried tortillas with beans and salsa while your entree is being prepared. I ate at the sister restaurant in Ketchum on Thursday evening and in this restaurant in Hailey on Friday evening. I will eat at La Cabanita Mex on my next visit to Sun Valley.

We love La Cab in Hailey! It’s one of our favorite hangouts! Our favorite server is George! George doesn’t miss a beat, keeps your drinks refilled, always super friendly and fun! The food is amazing here too! I recommend that you sit it the bar and have George wait on you! He’s the best! Thanks George for always talking care of us!! 🍺🌮😃

Hungry for Mexican and this place for the bill. Ordered the loaded nachos to share; we were hungry and the single appetizer filled us both! Food was hot, service was fast, friendly and attentive. Would eat here again!

Fantastic service and even better meal! Chips, salsa and refried beans were a great start. My husband is still raving about the smoky flavor of the refried beans. We highly recommend the carnitas - best we've ever had! We will definitely return.

The meal was excellent and unique. If you want authentic, well cooked Latino food this is your place. We highly recommend it. The wait staff did a great job caring for us .

I have been coming here and ordering takeout since they opened this location in Hailey. The food and service have always been very good and very consistent as they always have in Ketchum and Bellevue also.

Recent reviews reflect staff shortage and demanding tourists. Yes they are understaffed and it did take longer to get my food the last time I went but everything was still great and the stretched servers still did a great job. Keep supporting these guys as they're doing the best they can during a very busy summer without enough staff. The locals still love this place and we understand how difficult it has been.

La Cabanita is a fun and affordable restaurant, a rare find in the Wood River Valley. Many of the entrees are in the $10 range (e.g., the burritos), and they are large. The combo plates are a little more, but who wants to eat that much? Ended up eating here two nights in a row recently, both times ordering a few items from the ala carte menu--what a bargain! Most items are just $4 or $5 and one or two is plenty, especially after all the delicious tortilla chips beforehand. The wine pours are generous, the beers are cold, and the service is way above average. Good job, Kenny. Dinner for two (with a couple beers) was about the cost of a single entree at fancy restaurant. Go eat here!
