I’m sharing this review in hopes that the manager will make things right. But my stay was awesome, Norma was at the front desk when I got here and I had gotten lost previously and she was welcoming and accommodating. I don’t have a bed Where I live so the bed was absolutely amazing to sleep in. When I walked in the room, the AC was on, so that kind of sucks, but I got over it, and I set the alarm clock and went to bed. I woke up in the morning turned out the alarm clock was an hour off, so I was very late. But, I went down for breakfast cause I still had 10 minutes. I checked with the front desk they told me I was fine, by then, there was five minutes left of breakfast, and when I started to prepare a waffle, the woman unplugged the machine, so I apologize and I moved on , when I went to put a bagel in the toaster, she unplugged the machine. I got really pissed at that point and said listen the room had the alarm clock an hour off and either way I still have five minutes. The woman put everything away as fast as she could , I am just speechless. I had such positive experiences here and was looking forward to coming back. I’m gonna speak with management and see if I can be accommodated in someway because I don’t think that’s right. I wasn’t even late for breakfast that’s the thing on top of it. it takes 20 seconds to toast something? I don’t know if it was 931 I wouldn’t even be complaining but it was 925 and I feel this woman’s behavior was unacceptable again. Norma was amazing last night and helpful and welcomed to me. I hope that , I will come back and will be welcomed differently by the breakfast witch

The food was amazing the rooms were spotless. You have to try the breakfast potatoes they're soooo good. Darrelle was the manager I've met and he makes the best food.

I spoke with the new Manager Darrelle Lockley yesterday. He was very professional and was able to handle for me in less than 10 minutes what the General Manager refused to acknowledge. I left my review after our stay which to say nicely was not very pleasant. The General manager asked me to call and after wasting my time for 4 days I was lucky to get Darrelle yesterday. I explained to him about the unfortunate events of our stay. Yesterday was his 2nd day in this new management role and he accepted accountability for a situation he was not even a part of. He knew exactly who I was speaking of when I told him the good and the bad. Darrelle you sir are the change I believe this place needs. For the current General Manager, shame on you ma'am. You ignore your guests as if we will go away. You forget it is our stays that pay for the rooms which in turn pay your salary. Darrelle I wish you the best of luck sir! Darrelle if there were more than 5 stars for service you would get them all sir.

First day, evidence of construction everywhere. First morning! Perfect. Cleanest lobby I have seen in years. Best breakfast: Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, cereal &milk, hottest coffee ever, waffles and the friendliest staff. My room: Hot shower with super power, seriously high pressure & hot, loved it. Bed was perfect, slept like sleeping beauty. They are updating the building, so if you hear a drill or construction during the day, it is because they are dedicated to making this place a Hampton. I am on the road three weeks per month and always stay in a Hilton, this place is excellent on staff and soon to be excellent with the building. Yes I have read the other reviews, I believe the right person heard your complaints and is rectifying the problems.

You can always expect clean rooms, nice amenities, and excellent service staff at Hampton inn by Hilton. Westport STL did not disappoint.

We were in town for a book tour at The J. Such a great choice. Super close to the event. The ladies at check in were amazing and welcoming!! Thank you both so much. (10/5 stay) Room was large and clean. Great experience. Fun bar/grill next door to walk to. Definitely a great stay. (The renovation is not an issue!!!)

Super job on all of the staff, from check-in to their breakfast on us was just amazing service and value, our room was clean and we enjoys our stay with Hampton by Hilton. Highly recommend. Even with the remolding it's a nice comfortable stay.

I've stayed here many times, and while it was always an older hotel and the renovations are welcome and seem to be nearly complete. It has always been clean and comfortable with a wonderful staff over the last five years.

The hotel was very nice. Check in was easy. I had accidentally booked a smoking room and they were able to find us a nkonsmoking room. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. They offered a shuttle to the venue for our concert. The only complaint I had was the last shuttle was at 10:45 and most shows there don't end until 11. If they ran until 11:30, it would be perfect. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again.

The location was easily accessible coming from the west, and easy to get back to from activities in the city. We got there quite late, but were still able to check in and the gentleman at the desk was polite and professional. It was difficult to find parking that late, most of the lot was full. The room was very clean. The shower was quite spacious, had decent water pressure, and I really liked that it wasn't a shower/tub combination. It was handy having a nightstand on both sides of the bed so my husband and I didn't have to reach over each other to put our phones away. A hot breakfast buffet was included and it had a good variety in what it had to offer. There was water as well as coffee and fresh fruit constantly available in the lobby. For the most part, our stay was enjoyable. The biggest con was that you had to pay an additional fee for faster internet, which didn't seem all that fair.

Our room was clean. The staff was nice! Especially Jennifer! I loved that they have fresh fruit out during the day that guests can grab on the go and enjoy. I loved the setup of the room; they aren’t huge but the arrangement of the room makes a good use of the space.

We used our app and virtual key to check in! The General Manager was on duty and very nicely took care of all our questions. They are using Covid cleaning rules and it is very clean here. They are serving a hot breakfast. Parking was great. They have only a small outdoor pool but at the back of hotel so lots of privacy.

As soon as we arrived, the manager and all of the people who worked at the hotel treated us like family. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a week because I was in St. Louis for surgery. Our rooms was very nice and clean and housekeeping took very good care to make sure that the room was very clean for us. We even had trouble with the heat one day and the gentleman in maintenance came right up and put in a new heater for us. We used the shuttle to go to my doctors appointments and they even went out of their way to help us. One day we had to go out of their limits because my appointment was at a different location and they said it was no problem to do this. This saved us so we didn't have to drive with all of that traffic. Larry, our shuttle driver was great on that day because our appointment kept getting changed as we were driving. He drove us to each location and didn't even mind that we were taking most of his day in the process. The manager would check on us to see if we needed anything when we were in the lobby. Even the cook stopped by and checked on us to see how I was doing after my surgery to see if I needed anything. This hotel was like being at home. All of the reservation people spoke with us and made sure our time there at the hotel was enjoyable. The day of my surgery, we returned to our hotel room and the staff had left us a goody bag with 2 bottles of water and different types on foods that helped so we didn't have to go out and find something to eat after having my surgery. My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are ever needing a hotel when you visit St. Louis, MO. Thank you all at the hotel for making our stay as enjoyable as you did.

Incredible service and a wonderful price! My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to see Jeff Dunham. We were quickly checked in and as a Hilton Honors member, received a gift certificate for dinner at the restaurant next door. The room (as in all Hampton Inns) was very clean and cozy. We were delighted to find that the heat was turned up and the room was warm on such a cold night. There was also a cute note left from the cleaning staff with a packet of cocoa about staying warm. I could not have had a better stay and would recommend this place to EVERYONE. Great value, service, and price. Plus.. you can't beat the yummy hot breakfast!

Room was recently renovated and very clean. They have complimentary breakfast that includes fresh scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, pastries, waffles and fruit among other options. They also have several amenities if (like me) you forgot some odds and ends, like toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, etc. Definitely satisfied with my stay here.

My parents stayed at this hotel while visiting and they loved it! The beds were comfortable, rooms were cleaned, provided breakfast had options and favorable hours for them. They raved about their experience at this hotel and we will definitely keep them in mind for future trips.

I stay here often on Business. I started staying here before the new renovation (which is complete now). They did a fantastic job on updating the hallways, the rooms, and the lobby area (new little market area is awesome!). The staff is so nice and friendly here. Beds are very comfortable. I would recommend staying at this Hampton Inn if you are in town.
