Chelo's Waterfront Hometown Bar and Grille

Had a nice experience here. Tried their new Lobster BLT and really enjoyed. Great fries. Nice and crispy and lightly flavored. Can definitely see why this is a hot spot when it’s nice and sunny out. Will be returning for a visit.

Just went to Chelos this weekend. First weekend open since closing for the “winter”. No wait time, very attentive waitress. Drinks are good, food was
good. They have a new crab Rangoon dip that is amazing.

I just had my elopement celebration at The Waterfront this past Saturday, March 9th. I just wanted to thank every single person who worked that day and made it so perfect. From my initial request and communications with Beth and Summer, who went above and beyond and made everything stress free, to the setup of the beautiful room, the waitresses and bartender, the food, everything was just simply amazing! We cannot wait to have another party here!

This is a great place to visit on warm summer afternoons and evenings. Plenty of open air (under umbrella) seating by the waterfront besides the regular seating inside.
Great food, served by ever smiling, helpful service staff. Had their fish and chips, garlic calamari- superb!
The place is very popular, and you get the fun-place vibes from the staff and diners who are clearly enjoying the place.
Situated right next to the marina, locating a parking spot can be a challenge, though they have a large parking area. This waterfront location is perhaps the best and most popular amongst their 8 locations in RI. Family owned since 1955, it has a distinct warm, welcoming ambience which attracts you to it, over and over again.

Everything here was so delicious! I highly recommend this spot for the food, service and atmosphere. I ordered shrimp cocktail, RI calamari, and the Connecticut hot lobster roll. For drinks, we had the Miami Vice and pink sangria - sooo good!! The food came out fast. Our server was very nice. The only thing is I did find a piece of lobster shell in my lobster roll, but it’s not a big deal. I look forward to coming back soon and trying other dishes. This place looks like it can get filled up fast, so I recommend making a reservation online!

Five stars for location, views, atmosphere and our server was very good. Overall the food was very good, we really liked the Poseidon, everything tasted fresh! The chowder was bland so I wouldn’t get that again. The fish and chips had a very large piece of fish and everyone liked the lobster Mac and cheese, it had good chunks of lobster. The place is huge inside and out, fun to listen to live band and see people dancing.

Travellers, this is a wonderful seafood restaurant on the water in Warwick. The food was delightful. Traditional and then with a nice twist. The baked scrod has a wonderful crumb crust that has a garlic and basil component that makes it very yummy. Especially when you hit it with some fresh lemon. It was wonderful. The clam chowder never disappoints and the sides are all delicious. The atmosphere is bustling and busy. The outside deck is lovely and overlooks the water. There are also picnic tables available on a lawn. Very scenic. Check it out. We recommend.

Love this place! Great atmosphere (live band, outdoor seating). Great food - I wish all of their locations served this menu. Obviously, a great place to go with friends, a date. There's always tons of kids here too so you can bring your kids and let them dance and play. Don't have enough good things to say. Wish it wasn't so hard to get a reservation and you weren't "timed out".

I have been to other Chelo’s and they been great. We live an hour away and decided to try Chelo’s Waterfront. We had an amazing experience, my wife loved it, and she can’t eat fish. I had the red chowder that was awesome. The clam cakes my favorite were cooked perfect. What topped it off was loo

Went out with Mom and the kids. Had a nice Mom's Day meal. (Kids are in their 50's) The menu was somewhat limited. I wanted fried clams or a nice steak. No fried clams, no steak. For steak, all there was, was a poor excuse for a steak sandwich. I wish i had gotten a burger. The lobster roll was ok, nothing special, but ok. The steamers were good. Outstanding service from Abigail though. Through all her tables of customers demands, she had a smile and took care of everyone. Just outstanding. We will be back and try again when, hopefully the menu is better and more down to earth...

I love this place in the summer. Waterview, great outdoor area with fire pits, a stage and dance floor, live music on the weekends usually. Tends to get pretty busy so always make reservations if you are looking for a table. The food is amazing, I highly recommend if you like seafood. And they are known for their mudslides.

Delicious food at the water front. Service was nice. We had the drunken mussels, chicken sandwich abd the ahi tuna salad. All delicious. Abd a summer sangria also very tasty.

Went to a party in the upstairs room, overlooking the water. It was absolutely beautiful! Not to mention the buffet spread was phenomenal!! The tri tips were cooked to perfection! 👌 exceeded all buffet expectations and then some! The best veggies around!

Great portion size, food was excellent. Plenty of staff to handle the lunch crowd. Located right at marina, so you get a nice breeze from the water and good views.

What an amazing experience!! We came to celebrate my Grandmothers birthday. We were seated outside at a picnic table overlooking the marina. The weather was perfect, we stayed for 2 hours. We had no one around us it seemed so private. The waitress was kind, very attentive, and smiled every time she greeted us. She took her time taking my grandmothers order, & suggesting a dessert. It was cheese cake topped with fresh strawberries for the win!! The waitress lit a candle on the cake so we could sing happy birthday. She even took our picture! My Grandmother really felt special.
The food was delicious. My Grandmother got clam cakes & chowder, my mom got calamari, I got the summer salad and customized it to make it vegan. We all left happier then when we arrived! What a great time.

Great food! Great atmosphere! It was quiet when we went thru e in the middle of the week. I bet the weekends are a lot of fun

Very nice experience. Staffs were friendly & attentive. We had the Whole belly clam & Poke bowl. Clams were fresh & delicious. The Poke bowl was small serving. It was good. Not bad but would rather order it at a different restaurant. Chelo is great for American menu.

Been to Chelo’s many times, but this is a bit different. A more seafood-oriented menu, on the warf. The place looks like a seaside restaurant, and has beautiful outdoor seating and bars. Campfires add to the overall experience.

The food was good, and a bit more upscale, while still keeping the family favorites. The clam cakes, the steamers and even the fish and chips were great.

Food was really good. The service was amazing.
They have parking, which can get packed because everyone was to be here during the warm summer months. They have a live band playing Friday nights. Clean bathrooms. Two fire pits outside and a nice view to watch the sunset.
The outdoor eating area has two levels and you can eat at the picnic tables in the lawn as well.
