The Ice Bowl

Very friendly. Have an ice cream or try a pizza. Eat down the river and relax. There is also an outdoor Tiki bar. Try a tubing trip down the Fox River. Sit by the outdoor firepit, relax, and listen to some music. Bouncy house for the kids and other outdoor games.

I can't say enough good things about this place! I thought it was just an ice cream shop but when we saw kayaks sitting out in front, we stopped to check it out. The ice cream shop is actually the smallest part of this place & when we tried what they have to offer, it's some of the best I've tasted. The triple chocolate is the best I've ever had.

What's most surprising is the ultimate Green Bay Packers fan cave that's further inside. There's a ginormous couch that probably sits 12 comfortably in front of a large screen TV. The entire room is decked out with all kinds of Packers memorabilia, including a replica of the Lombardi trophy. The owner Keith was holding a game day event the weekend we were there that some Packers players were set to attend. I can't imagine a better place for diehard fans to watch a game.

The Packers theme extends to every part of what Keith & his wife have to offer. This is the first season they've been open & they're building a tiki bar behind the shop right on the Fox River. As the kayaks out front suggest, they also rent out inflatable kayaks & inner tubes & they're cheaper than anywhere else. After outfitting us with kayaks, life vests & paddles, Keith drove us up river a couple miles in a Packers themed bus where he launched us in the river. We enjoyed a leisurely 2-1/2 hour float down the river & saw a bald eagle at closer range than I ever had before along the way.

When we got back Keith helped us out & took care of all the gear while we went into the shop for ice cream. It was a perfect day with great weather & a wonderful host. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent ice cream shop! Wonderful focus on Wisconsin owned food! 24 different flavors of ice cream by Chocolate Shop! There was also some delish looking pizza. Bonus items to enjoy your ice cream experience with a fire pit, games and bags. They had an impeccable theme of packers memorabilia mixed with ice cream, down to the fire pit being in the shape of an ice cream cone! Great activities for the kids too including supplies to catch frogs! You won't be disappointed when you stop here either for a quick stop after the flea market or if you are looking for something to do with family and friends!

Absolutely love this place. Kudos to the owners. Take advantage of the tiki bar, love music, tubing trips, and of course the ice cream is always top notch. This place does donate a lot to the local and surrounding communities!!!

Excellent time with the kids!

Keith, the owner helped us through the process of getting ready and sized up the two smaller kids with properly sized PFDs. We had a great chat on the way to the drop zone as well.

We spent over two and half hours chilling on the Fox River to make the 3.2 mile journey back to the Ice Bowl. We saw a couple Bald Eagles and bunch of other wildlife.

I first hesitated at the price for a family of seven but after the trip, it was worth every single penny. My wife, who hates being on the water loved the entire experience.

We also a metric ton of ice cream when we were all done.

We plan to add a day trip to the Ice Bowl on our yearly two week camping trip.

It's always Tiki time at the Tundra Lounge. Stop on in for delicious cocktails while overlooking the beautiful Fox River. The Bartender is pretty cool too. 😎

Great ice cream and a fun outside tiki bar with music on the weekends during the summer. Plus lots of things for the kids to do. Wether it be playing in the bounce house or painting rocks or throwing some bags or some footballs around to dancing to the live music or just being a kid and enjoying the outdoors. If it's to cold outside check out the Packers Room inside. There's something for everyone at the Ice Bowl..

Cool little place to get ice cream or a brew, watch the game either inside on the couch or outside at the tiki bar. Allowed to fish off the pier during business hours. Tubing down the river offered! Watch out for the Croc !! He he

Awesome place to stop on the way to Green Bay. Ice cream was so good and the packer memorabilia was even better.

I have a child with incredibly strict dietary needs, and when I asked for more detailed info about a flavor, they were incredibly helpful. Additionally, they had a flavor that my child could enjoy! They even were thoughtful enough to check if my child had an allergy before using a scoop. 100% satisfied customer here.

Kayaking on the Fox with kayaks from The Ice Bowl was one of the coolest activities we've done in Princeton/Green Lake in the past ten years. The rental cost was reasonable and Keith (owner) set us up perfectly. My wife and I took our six grandchildren, ages 9 through 16, for a 2.5 hour float -- ending at The Ice Bowl. The current was gentle and the kids paddled and floated -- so easy! As the photos show, the Fox is also a beautiful river. Keith also provided squirt tubes ($5ea) and they squirted each other the entire time. We also purchased waterproof pouches for our iPhones ($10) -- Keith has thought of everything! ALSO... he is setting up the yard behind the ice cream shop with bags, games and chairs to relax. I recommend you take a few hours away from boating & skiing to enjoy this leisurely float -- you will become an instant hero to your family. Guaranteed!

We stopped at The Ice Bowl for some ice cream in our travels on the Harley’s today and to check out all the new changes. Gentlemen behind the counter scooping and providing customer service was extremely professional and polite…. I think he was 14 maybe. 😊 great kid that works there. Amazing what this family has done to this location. It’s truly a great stop in and visit and in Princeton!

Stop for a great treat!!! Great ice cream, a cocktail or a brew and they frequently have wonderful live entertainment at the Tiki Bar. Keith and Liz are your fantastic and gracious hosts.

We stopped in for some ice-cream. It was very good. They have flavors I haven't seen before. The staff is very friendly. Will definitely stop back in again in the future. We drive by 2 times every weekend to and from our camper.

I you happen to be in the area of Princeton, Wisconsin, this place is a MUST!! Hand scooped Ice cream and games for everyone, bar and outdoor sitting with a firepit by the water and a hangout indoor area with wii for teens. This place has everything Summer is supposed to be in one location.

The chicken strips at the Tiki bar were probably the best I have ever had, That chicken must have been actually running around earlier in the day they tasted so fresh. Owner is a nice guy, all tips go to charity,. The young girl in the ice cream shop was very pleasant and friendly. What a great place!

We had a great time tubing. The owner was amazing. We got set up with tubes and life jackets ,a cooler tube, and with the kayak tubes for the 5 and 7 year old to share with their parents.

We didn't just get dropped off, he got us all set up in the tubes and got us on our way . We had a headwind so it took 4 hours, but it was comfortable, smooth trip. No rapids.

The owner was there to help us out of the river when we reached his place. The tiki bar area looks like fun, I hope we can visit next year and have time to hang out there or get ice cream.

Great place, friendly people, and a wonderful place for the family

We had a great time, from the bus taking all of us to the launching point, down the river & to the end.

The very end, when you get out of your tube, was very “muddy”! It sucked a lot of us into the muddy murk…we needed someone to help pull us out. Lots of us couldn’t lift our feet up/out. That was the only drawback of this great adventure down the river!😉

The shower was very nice to have on the sandy beach area.

Not sure what can be done about that muddy end area.
**Maybe a sign, giving a “heads-up”!?! **Maybe having an employee standing there, telling people to stay inside their tubes, while the tube is pulled onto the sandy beach area!?!

Otherwise, the Tiki Bar, the parking area & the owners were WONDERFUL!! 💕 Beautiful gem there…everyone was very friendly.

We will try to be more aware of that muddy, dismounting, area!

We will return!👍
