Tropical is a cleaners you can relied on. I visited two others in the area to have my girl dress cleaned on a Thursday needed for Saturday. The dress was ready the next day.

I go to tropical cleaners for all my cleaning. They always do a great job. My last order was 5 soiled hats. They came back spotless. Tropical is the place to go in west palm beach.

Complete trash, they have lost my items multiple times. First time I was at least able to repurchase the set, the second time they lost my items which was 3 pieces the store doesn't even exist anymore and I can never get the outfit back, which I wore when I got engaged. They reimbursed me pennies for what I paid. Needless to say coming from someone who has had multiple clothing items gone missing, go somewhere else, I already have found a new family owned dry cleaner in town.

I used Tropical Cleaners to dry clean my suit pants. When I picked up the pants, I noticed that the length had shrunk by about 2 inches. I also noticed that they felt tighter and that the feel of the material had changed significantly. I am pretty certain that the pants were machine washed.

I called to inquire and was told by the manager "The pants were not machine washed. If they were machine washed, they would have shrunk and would feel differently". I told the manager that, in fact, the pants have shrunk and that they do feel differently. I told her that I was comparing the feel to the suit jacket, which I had not washed. The manager then told me that I should have washed the jacket with the pants. I am glad that I did not do this.

I told the manager that I did not agree with her assessment, and that I felt that Tropical Cleaners was responsible for damaging my suit pants. She told me that I needed to fill out a claim form for the owner to contact me. I asked if the owner could simply give me a call. The manager told me that the owner would not speak to me without filling out a claim form.

Instead of filling out a claim form, I am writing a review on google. If the owner would like to call me, they are more than welcome.

I switched to this dry cleaner a little over a year ago and, for the most part, have been satisfied. The one issue I had this year and last, was there inability to turn around dry cleaning in a timely manner in season. I went to drop off some clothes around 8 this morning and was told they wouldn't be ready until Friday. Five days for dry cleaning? Way too long with four other dry cleaners within two miles. When I said that I needed them faster, the OWNER said he had too much work and couldn't do it. I replied I would need to start using another dry cleaner and start to pack up my bag. No response, he just walked away. I've been using them every other week for over a year and this is how I was treated by the owner. I understand they get busy in season but locals are what keep the lights on the other half of the year.

Their motto, printed on their receipts and everything, "in by 9 out by 5", should really be changed to "in by 9 out by 5, when it's convenient for us".

I'll take my business elsewhere and you should too.

Understand shortened hours due to current issues but to close up before the shortened hours and refusing to take service is utterly insane. When I called from the drive way at the facility, the guy said they already closed the register? It wasn’t even time yet. Not reliable and certainly not professional. This is not the first time...will be looking elsewhere to give LY business.

Basically charged me twice as much for an alteration , they made up the price on the spot, never going f again
