Black Bear Diner

Not all Black Bear Diners are equal. I've heard bad reviews from another one in Medford. I've never been disappointed in this one. No matter how crowded it is, the waiters manage to deliver food quickly and are attentive. The cook does the most tender and delicious steaks I've had in a restaurant. He deserves more money and a better restaurant, but I'm glad he's there. For $20 I can get a huge steak that is delicious. The service is amazing! It's the best American restaurant in town.

Black Bear Diner has stolen my heart with their amazing food and incredible value for money! One thing that truly impressed me about Black Bear Diner is the portion sizes. Not only are the burgers and fried chicken beef dishes huge in flavor, but they also come in generous portions that will satisfy even the heartiest appetites. And the best part? The prices are incredibly affordable. You get so much delicious food for your money, making it an excellent value proposition. The service at Black Bear Diner was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

I had the Tri Tip (medium rare).
Misses had the Chicken Fried Steak.
The TT was amazing and so was the CFS.

Being this good I believe the line to get Seated was Worth the wait

I very enjoyable place to eat. A similar restaurant to Denny's,. The staff are very polite, the food was served in a very quick manner, portions served were plentiful, and prices were very good. In my opinion, pretty much everything someone could want in a restaurant.

My family loves this restaurant. Great service, delicious food, huge portions. We go here as often as possible. I highly recommend. They have kids menus with crayons. And the adult menus look like newspapers. If you go on the weekend ask to have Matthew wait on you.

We got the French dip and pot roast and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Homemade gravy, bacon ranch and tri tip was sooo tasty. Service was excellent explaining sides and recommendations. Will definitely be back:)

Black Bear is always a great place for breakfast. Although the chicken fried steak isn't as big as it used to be it is still delicious!

The food really satisfied our hungry bellies after hiking! As you can see the pies were so good it was destroyed within minutes.

If you are hungry and want a great meal.
Go to the Black Bear Diner in Klamath Falls, Or.

You will not be sorry.
You will be full of food.
They have a different meau and it is neat.
It is like reading the newspaper.

You will have a great time eating there. ENJOY!!

The food was so so. One person in our group ordered chicken dinner. The chicken was cooked, but it was cold.
We said something about it and the manager got upset. He gave us nothing but excuse.

I had the chicken avocado club and my wife had the bear breakfast combo. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch as both were the best food we've had in days.

It was busy since Denny's is closed for maintenance. The service was good, the food delicious. I wish I'd have taken pictures of the food, but we were so hungry, i forgot 😋.

Breakfast prices are great and food is delicious. Waitresses are super cute and nice as well!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good meal

Wow! What family diners were in the good ol days. Menu has everything your grandma would cook at home. Friendly and fast service. If I lived in Klamath I would try everything on the menu.

A "Worthy Breakfast" joint!

Our first time and it was very pleasant. Server was prompt, patient, and attentive. Dishes were presented and served hot. Best part of the dishes were the strip hashbrowns and their bottled Black Bear hot sauces (fav:habenero). Coffee was very delicious also.

Definitely a MUST STOP if you're in the area.

They have several restaurants in Oregon and they never fail to provide good food. They are consistent with their quality. Don’t forget to try my fave: french toast bear claw with hot link and bacon. Yum! Ultimate breakfast for a hungry bear☺

Prime rib, chicken fried steak with eggs, always consistent. Always good. I don't care for the biscuits tso much, but everything else seems to be fine. Especially the coffee.

I recommend the California Bacon Benedict with a side of grits. It was so delicious. The server was friendly but it took a while to get our food and with little kids that can be annoying.
