A hidden gem! Highly recommended by long time locals for a reason! Don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station fool you! Everything has been really, really good. Pictured is their halibut and chips and well worth the money. Wish they were bigger and needed more tartar sauce but it was 💯! At this seating we had also ordered chicken (not)fingers, lol, they were HUGE!

The people were amazing, and the food was spectacular. I absolutely love being able to watch them bake right in front of me. I loved how the meat in the gyro practically melted in my mouth 😍. My mom absolutely loved their hot turkey club, and their fries were delicious. It felt like an old Italian mom and pop shop. The staff were so fun to chat with. There were these teenage boys who had the best conversations with my mom and I. And it felt like a slice of home if I'm to be honest. If I ever have the chance to go again, I most definitely will and stay longer. AND EAT THE PIE!!! Seriously, the pie looked picture perfect, with a flaky crust and well-made fillings. If I could have, I would have bought the whole pie and devoured it as I talked to the staff. Even if I don't have the money to purchase food, I'd just hang around for the lovely staff and just chat, and I don't think I'd actually be asked to leave until the store was well and closed. 10/10 will go again.

Best server ever... Customers were friendly, too. She didn't know I'd just arrived to Alaska the day before, for my retirement celebration long awaited travel to the state and it was my 62nd birthday. I had an appitizer (to go)... INCREDIBLE homemade crab dip and bread. Best halibut fish and chips I've ever eaten. The portions were a plenty. I ended up ordering a homemade fudgy brownie (also to go... but I ate half)! In my year long travel, home base in Wasilla, I WILL be back often!!! Thank you for making my arrival and special day wonderful...

Great stop for lunch, delicious food, extra kind staff - we loved it! And their prices were local, not as inflated for tourists as other places, so extra points for that, thank you!

Very small little hole in the wall place, excellent friendly service. Food was pretty good. My son got a pizza and loved it. My husband thought his food was just ok. Still... would recommend. Google took me to the wrong location for this restaurant. It's on the SOUTH side of the highway next to a gas station.

Stopped for lunch as we were passing through. Although the restaurant is tucked to the side of a gas station, we were very pleasantly surprised! The smoked salmon chowder was creamy, rich, and delicious. The halibut fish and chips came out nice and hot and the fish was tender and juicy. We finished it off with a slice of apple rhubarb pie which might have been the best apple pie I’ve ever eaten.

Excellent food! We tried (and loved) the halibut tacos, salmon chowder, halibut burrito, seafood gumbo with fried chicken on top, side salad, and broccoli starter. We are planning on coming back here soon!

Always consistently excellent food, great service. Family favorites are the burritos, burgers, pizzas (the Houston) and my favorites are tempura Broccoli, Bang Bang Shrimp. Of course you'll have to try their fresh cut fries. Desserts are delicious too.

I cannot say enough how happy we all were to come upon Cadillac Cafe on our way to Denali. Cadillac is a small and cosy cafe with friendly and helpful servers. The menu had something for everyone. The brisket sandwich was absolutely delicious, and very filling. The meat was tender and the bread freshly made in-house. Perhaps one of the best sandwiches I've had. The chicken salad, had good seasoning with a decent serving of chicken. I highly recommend stopping by here.

WOW! This little hole in the wall gem is well worth the drive from Anchorage to try. Our waitress Danielle was hustling all over the place and was so sweet and friendly. There are about 8 booths in this small little cafe attached to a gas station but they put out incredible food. We had the smoked salmon chowder and the french dip that actually has home made from the meat au jus and not some bottled fake stuff. Both items were excellent and the prices good for the huge quantity provided. I took home the curry salad and it was full of romaine, cashews, red grapes and chicken. The dressing was so good and I would love to have the recipe. We also took home one of their homemade pieces of pie-apple and cherry combo with a crumble topping that was very big and good enough for two meals and was delicious. We will be back again!

What a find! I am staying in Palmer and was told about this place for its fish tacos! Well worth the drive and as a bonus, a great host! Whoever was serving that day was friendly and pleasant, greeting everyone on a first name basis. Very accommodating as they allowed me to have 2 of each taco style, instead of an order of one that comes with three! I will return next time I am in the area!

This place has changed very little in the seven years since I was here last, which is a good thing. They do their menu very well and run a good kitchen in the back.

We just left Cadillac Cafe and we already miss it. Tiny, unique, enough variety on the menu to make the whole family happy AND the biggest order of freshly made bread sticks I've ever seen. Our waiter, Matt, was super fun, friendly, and helped us get exactly what we needed for our toddler. The chef talked with us as he made pizza dough in front of their beautiful open faced oven, showing us how everything they make is from scratch. We couldn't have asked for a warmer reception and think this unassuming hole in the wall is not to be missed. If you stop there, tell Matt we miss him.

Wow, what a hidden gem. Tucked in next to a gas station, but don't be mislead - food at this place is amazing. Our group of 4 stopped in for lunch on the way up to Denali. Started with the Sampler appetizer which included batter coated & fried broccoli with a sesame/teriyaki sauce (outstanding!), Fried Halibut nuggets (also amazing) & some crab dip that is some of the best I've eaten. For meal we had wild berry salad, traditional italian calzone & ettouffe with shrimp, Halibut, mussels and cheesy grits - all 3 very, very good. This place is a must stop. Kudos to the kitchen staff.

This immediately became my new favorite restaurant in the Wasilla/Matsu Valley area today, after stopping by after a long day trip. It was one of the most interesting menus I've seen. We wanted to try everything. We started with the sampler appetizer, pictured. It included tempura broccoli, fried halibut chunks and crab dip with toast. We then ordered blackened halibut tacos and chicken Chipotle tacos. Everything was fantastic. Service was fast and friendly. The meal was affordable, something we don't see often in Alaska. We'll definitely go back, probably often!

These menu photos have been updated as of 5/29/21, but the menu changed a while back. I'm impressed with the way the manager or owner or whomever he was seemed to genuinely care about his staff. He was patient. The food was nice and handmade. He appears to be short staffed. He could use a janitor but it wasn't filthy. I loved the stove for cooking the pizza.

You can order anything on their menu and it is delicious!! They also have pies that are made in house which are absolutely amazing! You can order a slice or you can purchase a whole pie to take home! They have a regular foods menu and then they also have a pizza menu! The staff is always super friendly and they are also quick and efficient! Love this restaurant and will always go back as long as they are in business!!

Don’t you hate it when you go grocery shopping while you’re hangry? Cadillac Café saved my heart from having high blood pressure, and I left with a smile on my face. I highly recommend stopping at this place if you’re in the area.

Must try: seafood chowder, Buffalo sliders, twisted bread sticks, salmon tacos, and of course — the delicious pie. All of the desserts, buns, bread, and pizza crust are all made in house and are delicious!

Gema is an amazing delightful server. She made our experience feel very fun and enjoyable.
