The Gila Valley Arizona Temple

A beautiful temple for a beautiful community. The Gila Valley is a true gem of the Southwest. I always loved visiting this place and checking out all the vast cotton farms. This temple has a beautiful, classic style and the temple grounds are lush and colorful.

The Temple is a holy place for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A nice little park next door which is part of the grounds.
There is not a visitor center at the moment but they have beautiful grounds Wich beautiful place to get married. they also have a church next to the Temple open all day Sunday.

Beautiful gardens provide a tranquil place to meditate and reflect. The interior is stunning; every painting is a masterpiece, every item of furniture has the finest craftsmanship. The cut glass chandeliers and mirrors are some of my favorite pieces.

The staff (trained volunteers) are so courteous and warm. They are eager to serve and quick to notice if someone needs assistance or some accommodation.

Currently (Fall 2021) due to COVID-19, visits are by appointment only. I've been able to make same-day appointments for endowment and initiatory sessions. Baptism appointments have more limited availability: I was able to set a weekend baptismal appointment about 2 weeks in advance.

This temple is beautiful and the temple workers were exceptionally kind.

If you want a place to feel peace a visit to the grounds around the temple will calm you. Entry reserved to those who qualify only. The view of the Graham Mountain is spectacular on a clear day. You will meet happy, friendly people there.

What a jewel to be found along the highway in this sleepy part of the state. Wonderful architecture and beautiful grounds have perked up little Central, AZ. I recommend for all to see and visit.

It's a gorgeous temple that really helps you to feel the Spirit. I got married here a couple days ago and the workers were very kind and helped me know what to do and where to go.

Beautiful but small Temple! The workers here are Wonderful and very kind! If you come on a regular basis they get to know you and become your new best friends. If you're just visiting and maybe forgot your Temple clothes don't worry, they will let you borrow some! The endowment rooms are especially beautiful so make sure to stop by and see this beautiful gem.

Peace and blessed are the feeling I associate with this beautiful temple. Because it is smaller, special care is given to each person who attends. Visit this oasis in the desert. Stop. Rest from earthly cares. Leave refreshed by the Holy Spirit. It's waiting there for you.

My husband and I like going to this Temple the ordinance workers are very, accommodating. One day we were able to do all the ordinances for some close family members with their help. This truly is a wonderful place.

There is peace. I urge you to go and walk the Temple grounds, matter what challenges or happiness you are experiencing in your life you will feel the spirit there. ❤

I love to see the temple

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The temple is our most sacred place of worship. It is a place where we learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father's plan for us. A place of peace. I love the temple!
