Hanayori Japanese Restaurant

We arrived about 7pm on a Friday night. We were advised sushi would take longer. We ordered two starters and 5 rolls. It didn't take as long as we were initially told and everything was very good the table favorite was the Burrito Roll!

The food was absolutely amazing,the cucumber & seaweed salad was very tasty the 3 days I ate there. Will definitely return when I'm in Klamath Falls again.

My partner and I got food to go, and it was great! We got the chicken katsu, miso soup, and green tea ice cream. All delicious, big portions, and well made. The restaurant was busy despite seeming slightly understaffed (I think one person in the front, one back), but the young man who took our order was very kind and took his time with helping us. The food didn't take long. The dining area is very cozy, with pretty lanterns and a natural, minimal lay out. Great food, deal, service, and atmosphere, I would definitely return if I was in the area!

Always great food at Hanayori! We had the chicken teriyaki, the firecracker roll and the Oregon roll. All of it was delish and the service was great. Go early and you can eat in before they get busy!!

Great food, I have the tempura plate, green tea and a bowl of miso soup. All very good!

Best Japanese food in Klamath Falls. Nearest Japanese restaurants from Klamath Falls is Medford, Ashland or Bend and Hanayori's is better than some of the Japanese restaurants in either of the other cities. Please try the Chirashi. Still good.

Really good sushi and the portion sizes are very generous. Highly recommended. Our server was very attentive and kind so we left him a big tip for being so great 😊

Enjoyed dine in service with my partner for dinner. Great quality and fair prices. Don’t forget to order Saki (pro tip: if you consume too much wasabi, a sip of Saki will wash away the burn!).

Small restaurant but very good! The Fire Cracker Roll is fantastic, the perfect amount of spice. The wait is real but the food is worth it!

We went yesterday and one of their chefs were out and they were only making sushi which isn't okay with our kids, so we came back today and had an amazing dinner. The server is very good, but clearly stretched thin on a Friday night.

We were the first people to arrive at around 6:30 on a Thursday night, it filled up very quickly and the waiter was young, but very attentive and nice, the food was great, took just as long to prepare as most restaurants, maybe even faster, and everyone else was getting food just as fast.

Excellent sushi, good sake. Lots of fresh fish rolls in the style I like.

Amazing foods and very reasonable pricing.Dont go if you are in a hurry. Can be very slow but very much worth the wait. Sushi rolls are excellent and Tempora shrimp are always very delicious

The best sushi place in Klamath and it’s not even remotely close. Makes momiji seem like pig slop.

That was so delicious! They were accommodating to our group of 5 and the wait wasn't long to get a table or get the food out.

Great sushi for good price. The waitress was really helpful and had suggestions for post meal drinks and dessert (we wanted birthday cake and not mochi). The dining room is small-ish so maybe consider that if you're bringing a large group. Will be going again.

We got garden salad w/ house dressing, light & beautiful tasting. Miso soup w/ tofu, green onions & mushrooms, so delicious, hot & comforting. Firecracker roll & Volcano roll, both looked like works of art and tasted amazing. Ordered 2 more of same rolls to go.
Even the hot tea was great quality!!!

The service was a little slow but I gave it 5 stars because the young person there was alone and doing the best they could. The food was tasty

As much as I love the chef's who make the food as it is always AMAZING! I do not think I will ever order if the guy who works here is on shift. Not only did he have another customer pay for my food and leave with it! He pretended as if the kitchen staff remade our order. With COVID and everything going on I think it's just wrong. I should have asked him to leave the order that was brought back on the counter! Big learning lesson!! The woman brought the order back and within 5 minutes our food was "remade" and ready. I honestly should have called OSHA in regard to the incident but I do love this restaurant and know the girl whom usually works here would have NEVER done such a thing. He was extremely unprofessional about the situation and offered nothing but "you can pay for your food now" with two hungry children I didn't have much choice but to take my food and go.
I do love the food here as it is the freshest sushi in Klamath Falls although I will definitely be cautious of who is on staff when ordering out.
