Long Holiday Motel

A great place for a quick night and Gunnison, the rooms are very clean. A basic motel, was just a microwave in your room. They offer coffee and tea in the morning.

Like an old fashioned motel it is not far off the road. You can park in front of your room. The landscape is gorgeous unlike a regular motel. It feels welcoming. There is a couple of chairs and a table outside the room door hidden from the parking lot by lovely flowers. We had a fire in the fire pit 2 nights in a row. I think you really have to try it to appreciate it. We spent most the day exploring the forest and mountain roads outside of the city.

Rooms are very clean & comfortable. Beautiful location with much to do just minutes away. The managers/owners are very nice. They are on the property working around the clock. This is not a fancy resort, just a quaint little place to sleep after a day of adventures in the beautiful state of CO! We stayed here for over a week & loved it!!!

If you're wanting to stay on budget or just experience something different than your typical chain hotel, THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE!!! Our price for one night was $90 for a run with 2 double beds! (Surrounding chain hotels were averaging $200/night). Beds felt like you were sleeping on a cloud (the kind of comfort you'd melt into at a 5 star hotel)!!! Rooms have cabin feel with log furniture and come with a dining room table, microwave, fridge, and TV and free Wifi. The bathroom was large! Plenty of room for moving about getting dressed/undressed and more than one person can get ready at the same time because there's also 2 large mirrors on opposite walls! There's a stand-only shower in the corner.

Stayed here one night recently while traveling through Colorado and New Mexico. The gentleman (the owner, I'm assuming) at the front desk appeared to be stern upon first meeting, but was very helpful and professional. The room and the property was very clean and well manicured, and there was handmade log furniture both inside the rooms and out on the property where there was a firepit and gazebo. Had a great night's sleep and went onwards to my next destination.

What afab place to stay! Staff are friendly and helpful and their little Yorkshire terrier is so playful and adorable. We couldn't get our heating to work and the man of the motel was happy to help. We got coffee and cookies in the morning and two bags of cookies on arrival. The beds are comfy and the decor is one of a kind. Would recommend this place.

At first look, I thought, oh bedbugs! But not a one. The room was cleanand tidy. Love all the wood furniture. Tge towels were a lovely shade of green to match the curtains. I especally enjoyed the blooming flowers growing just outside the rooms. A definite paradise! The room rate was totally unexpected for such a delightful plae to stay. Of course, it is pet friendly!

What more could you ask for? We liked the owner from the time we pulled in. There is a lot of pride taken in the upkeep. The rooms are very clean. I would not pass on this one to go to a chain hotel.

Very nice small motel. The rooms are smaller but they are nice. The bathrooms are large, and I loved the wooden furniture. There are nice touches that you don't get in a bigger hotel, and for the price you can't beat it.

Clean, quiet, well kept, family run lodge! Great place to crash while passing through. The kitchen suite was a bonus! Will come back next time I stay in Gunnison!
