Safeway

Safeway in Gunnison Colorado it's probably one of the most beautiful stores I've ever been in but probably for staffing reasons they've lost their deli no pre-made sandwiches no fried Chicken no tick chicken tenders play ended up getting triscuits and turkey breast and having a dietary luxury

I love Safeway! Good groceries and great staff.

Safeway has been my grocery store of choice since 1968. It always has the products I'm looking for. I also love the store brand, Signature. It's as good if not better than some name brand products.

It had been many many years since I had been in a Safeway store I live out of state and we don't have them here but growing up in Texas they were everywhere. This store took me back to my childhood and it actually looked a lot like the ones from my childhood so it was a good experience. The store is clean and well kept and all the employees were nice. Over all it was great!

Staff at grocery store was friendly. Prices decent, especially if you have a rewards card with them (for the discount).
Great location just off the highway. Camper trailers or Motor homes can park in the back or on the side of the building.

Safeway is always awesome , best produce and meats

Their produce section always looks so great stocked very well as well everybody also helps me find things when I can't find them

I really enjoy visiting this Safeway. I do wish that they would expand it. I shop here for just about everything and many times find myself leaving without anything or many things. The town is growing and it would be great if they would grow with it. They have a lot or they can expand and I spoke to many residents that's shop here often and say they would appreciate it growing just a little bit for the regular shoppers.

Service was wonderful! Staff was extremely friendly and offered a couple gluten free options to fit our dietary needs. The cook (possibly the owner) came out and talked with us as well.

Always a great place to get food for the night and rest with the pups!

I've always loved Safeway was so happy to see you when I got to Gunnison that we had one but I avoid it due to the fact that they're so short-handed and I don't like waiting in line that long sorry but I still love it

I love the Fountain Safeway. It always has fresh meats and fresh produce. The associates are more than helpful. Love how clean the store is including the bathrooms.

Safeway is not my favorite store, but this one was great. Service wonderful. Bathroom very small, one for all.

Just needed a handful of things on this quick pit stop of my road trip and the cashier helped me find what I needed, as I've never been in Gunnison before. Awesome! Thank you!

Updated vegetable and fruit section, excellent meat dept. Helpful staff. Not as busy as alternative choice in Gunnison. No pharmacy, or gas station. Older building, semi updated. Prices are ok. Enhanced variety of foods and drink choices. Give it a try

Friendly service and plenty of cashier lines for less waiting time. I like how they re-arranged the isles to create a challenge to the long time local shopper. :-)

This is an older, small store compared to the overkill of todays modern supermarket but it is well stocked with plenty of choices and the staff friendly and helpful even in the 11th hour of my late night impromptu visit.

They are open an hour later than city market and that makes a ton of difference

The smallest Safeway store I've ever been to. Some items cost more compared to other Safeway stores in the US. The produce, meat and frozen sections are not wide ranging. It has less variety of products.
