I found this place based on reviews and am so glad I did. Meet new people or come with a group and rent the entire place out. This place is like no other I’ve ever stayed at and I can’t wait to go back. Its unique architecture naturally brings people together and its laid back vibe are perfect to relax and unwind. It’s BYOB and a simple but delicious breakfast is included every morning. Don’t come to sit in your room and watch TV as there aren't TVs in the rooms; there’s only one TV and I don’t think it was ever turned on. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the hosts Dan and Alma who do an excellent job of making guests feel at home.

Dan & Alma’s Teepee lodge is a cozy, lovely place to stay near The Grand Teton Natl Park. Warm, wooden building made me feel like home at the moment I entered, and our room was cute and spotless. The bed was perfectly comfy, not too plush but not too firm, and we were fully recharged every morning! In the morning, we enjoyed fresh fruit bowls and fresh baked goods. Their muffins are exceptional!!!! Even though it was not the sunniest day, we could admire the grandeur of Tetons on the second floor. When the weather is not very friendly, we played billiards or just sat in an armchair, sipping coffee. Alma was very welcoming, and she takes very good care of guests. I am so sure anyone who visits this beautiful place will enjoy their stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. A gem on our road trip to the west. This is a “don’t miss it” experience. With Dan & Alma as hosts, we felt like we were staying with good friends. Lizzie, their Swiss Mountain dog is a delight. Overall, just a wonderful time!

Great price and a unique experience. The center of this lodge is a big communal hangout area with the rooms around the edge. The staff was very friendly and there are plenty of things to do in the communal room (books, games, big fireplace for conversations). Soft beds, nice bathrooms, tasty breakfast. I'd return if I end up in the area again. My wife was really jazzed that I chose this place also so I'm happy about that.

This is such a wonderful place! We had a family reunion there and they were so accommodating. The facility is homey and spacious and the games were great fun. And it’s really convenient to all sorts of winter sports. We’d love to go there again!

simply the BEST lodge I've ever stayed at. The teepee style was unique, warm and inviting. The giant fireplace in the middle brought people together and made you feel so cozy and right at home. And the breakfast was fabulous! Fresh and delicious, the food was miles above any other hotel breakfast I've had. Clearly, Dan and Alma know how to run a business, and it shows. The level of detail put into each and every part of the lodge, from the front entrance, to the individual rooms, game room, TV room, and dining area is superb and showcases their skill in hosting. I will recommend to all my friends visiting WY and I can't wait to stay here again!! 11/10 stars!!!

What an amazing place. The wood work is really special and so is the architecture. Great creek out back to do a cold plunge. Dan is a great host truly a nice human. I hope to be back someday.

We loved the Teepee lodge! Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Beautiful area and the hosts are helpful and willing to give plenty of local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and the views are hard to beat! Music playing, pool table and game room are nice, would love to sit around that fire after a day of skiing! We will have to come back in the winter! Thanks Dan and Alma!

Lovely place. Will definitely be coming back. We were visiting Grand Teton National park and couldn’t decide where to stay. We thought it would be nicer to stay in the Jackson area on the other side of the mountains, but it was so expensive. We ended up staying here, and we were so glad we did. This is the better side of the mountains. It’s much more calm and beautiful. Jackson was very touristy (but still very nice) in comparison. The hosts were lovely, and it was nice to interact with the other guests in the common area. One the best places we’ve ever stayed! The picture is the sunrise we watched from the lodge.

This is a unique building with the center resembling a teepee, center of building has a circular sofa with a large fireplace. The rest of the common area is full of little areas for people to sit and socialize, reading area, pool table, fuzz all and other things to keep oneself entertained. The rooms surround the common area. There’s an outdoor fire pit which has great views of the Tetons and night sky. The owners are very friendly and helpful when one needs suggestions as to what to do nearby. Can’t say anything negative about this place. Its a gorgeous and relaxing place.

Great spot to stay while skiing Targhee. This was my first visit in the fall and it was beautiful. Hosts are very welcoming and so are the guests. Homemade muffins and omelets were for breakfast. Such a unique and welcome experience.

Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and community like. Dan and Alma are fantastic hosts and are a wealth of knowledge to the area and beyond. The lodge is super cool with comfortable seating areas and a quiet area for viewing the Tetons while having a coffee or reading a book. You can take advantage of the shuffleboard table, foosball, pool, darts, or board games to pass that down time. Or maybe sit by the fire pit that is placed on a meticulous lawn and with great views. Some of the other secrets I'll let you find out for on your own (bar rules, Dan's dinner recommendations, do this, not that, an airport you can eat at practically on the runway with a museum also). There is no AC in the rooms but the fan trick worked fantastic. Also no TV in the rooms so maybe you'll actually have to relax and enjoy the amenities or talk to your significant other! Regardless...we highly recommend Teton Teepee Lodge.

Very comfortable and personalized stay. Felt like I was at home, except even better with tons of seating in the lounge and activities for kids of all ages! Stunning views, tranquil atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. Clean, friendly environment. Dan and Alma are fabulous! And the homemade muffins are to-die for!

When staying in Wyoming we were looking for a place outside of the ordinary hotels and Teton Teepee Lodge hit the mark. We loved the opportunity to meet so many of the other wonderful guests and the lodge design and layout provided the opportunity to sit and chat with others. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Dan was great in suggesting restaurants and advantages and the entire staff was friendly and very helpful. If we make it back to Driggs and the Grand Teton area will plan to stay again.

We were lucky to score a reservation for one night as part of my Dad's Crazy Road Trip. We both wished we could have spent at least a week here! Dan and Alma are the perfect hosts. The Lodge has been lovingly restored to its former glory and beyond. The main lodge area is gloriously welcoming, with a huge central fire pit (no worries! It has amazing ventilation!!), plenty of cozy seating, and loft areas with game rooms and relaxing lounge space.

The rooms are smallish with excellent bathroom and getting-ready space. Don't sweat the room size--if you are coming here, you'll be spending most of your day out enjoying the area and relaxing in the main lodge area at night. Pick up the phone and talk to the owners--they will help you understand the room layouts and capacities.

I am scheming ways to come back as soon as possible.

This location has year-round access to activities and glorious scenery. Dan and Alma have you covered for breakfast, with tasty and healthy homemade options. I understand why people book months-years sometimes-in advance. Plan ahead!

All the positives of this wonderful place have already been highlighted in previous reviews so I’ll keep this simple.

Alma, Dan - thank you for allowing us to stay at your special lodge. You’re the perfect hosts - we will be back for a ski season!

Great affordable option outside of Yellowstone and GTNP. You can tell the owners are committed to the success of this venture. My wife and I would not hesitate to come back and certainly hope to.

Don't sweat the small rooms or lack of TVs. The lodge thrives from people being in the common area, not their rooms. If you want a "typical" hotel experience this probably isn't the place for you.

Such an incredible experience! We felt welcomed and taken care of by Alma, Dan and their dog “Lizzy”. This place is an experience, starting from being shown around this super unique Teepee to Dan making restaurant suggestions and hitting it “nail on” what would work for us and making us a reservation. The room was quiet and cozy. The common area w fire pit and lovely music felt quaint. The view is spectacular of the mountains. Even though Alma and Dan explained to us where we would like to go hiking, Dan joined us on a gorgeous hike. We just had such a unique and special experience that I would love to share again or anyone else might have. I can imagine this to be the perfect place to stay in the winter since the ski resort is just up the street/mountain.

Dan and Alma are what make America such an amazing place! These two are lovely and they have created a fantastic thing here. The rooms are very small, so be prepared, but that is part of the charm. Loved everything about our experience there, highly recommend and we will be back!
