Warrenton Petco has the most helpful staff who will go above and beyond. "Picture it"...I bought a small, often forgotten about treasure who caught my eye swimming in his little bowl back in May of 2023. His name is now Stevie Nix...Nix for short❤ when I tell you he is very spoiled? It's no understatement 😂 He caught a bout of Popeye(it's a thing I swear) and I called Petco to ask for help and was ready to speed to any vet that would save my baby😭🙇 The staff at Petco, never once gave the impression that my 1.5 gram fish was any less of a heart hole filling family pet than Shadow the dog😍 And Nix is now in his own 10 gallon tank with whatever he wants or needs at his fingertips🤔....or fintips😂 He honestly lives better than me and it will stay that way.
PS- Something that isn't talked about more? Bettas have amazing personality and are great confidants to those who'd rather talk to a fish than 90% of humanity 😋🫶🤷

Vickie (spelling?) was the most wonderful employee I've ever come across. She was so knowledgeable, extremely friendly, extra helpful and if I could, I'd hire her for my company. It takes a lot for me to write a good review...it's rare for me. She was exceptional across the board.

the ladies who were here this night i came in were very nice & definitely seemed like they want to be there. The lady who checked me out actually talked to me and had a conversation while doing her job which made coming back out to the store after work not seem like such a hassle! The made great suggestions when trying to decide something to add into my rats cage!

This is great place to shop for pet supplies though I wish they would not sell animals. There are hundreds of animals in the local area that need adopting and good homes! Anyhow, the selection is incredible and they have excellent sales. Customer service is pretty decent, usually get pretty good care there and people that work there appear genuinely interested in the welfare of pets. I'll keep going back for my chinchilla and cat supplies!

We use the grooming services frequently. Very happy with all the groomers. I have a great Pyrenees with a ton of hair. She always looks beautiful and happy at her appointments.

Kaitlyn is awesome! She helped us find everything we need for our new hamster and gave us lots of good advice to get us started! We will definitely be coming back to this Petco location :)

I should come here more often. I love that you can bring your dog in.

It's a pet store. They always have great clearance specials on dog stuff. My only issues are that finding somebody to get crickets takes a long time, and third party company that delivers other reptile food (superworms, wax worms, etc ) doesn't care at all and I can never find fresh insects

Your location is also very convenient for me.

One of the employees stocking the shelves went out of his way to check stock for me, aquatics section was very helpful, and cashier was very friendly. 5/5 star customer service.

They did start charging for plastic bags at checkout. I have no issue with this, as it reduces plastic waste, but I wanted to add it to the review for anyone who may not expect it. If you don't want to pay for bags bring some of your own.

A go-to for every pet owner in the area, we love shopping at our local Petco! All of their associates are always very friendly and helpful; Kelly in particular went above and beyond helping my grandmother set up an engaging habitat for her new parakeets.

Great grooming services. I have taken my GS for the past 6 months, and he always comes home happy and very clean. They respect your appointment time.

This team cares about the animals it sells. When a fish was in rough shape and I offered my hospital tank they let me rescue him. Sadly the fish was too far gone but the attempt to save a life for no other reason than you should is much appreciated. This team is in great hands with Ashley. Thank you

Our dogs are always so eager to have their "Spa Day" at Petco. To me this means they are treated well and enjoy it. Daisy and Brady always look great after their grooming and it makes them feel good.

I love Petco! Their employees are really nice and helpful. The guys who work in the aquarium/fish department are very knowledgeable and answer all of my questions. They definitely helped me select all the right fish for my community tank. Thank you!

Took my dog in to the Petco in Warrenton, VA to get his nails trimmed. No wait, staff was wonderful and they did a better job than my vet usually does. Very happy. Make sure you have documentation of rabies vaccine when you go.

the vet/clinic portion of petco is always awesome and the vet answers all my questions whenever we come for our puppy's flea/tick and heartworm meds. it saves us SO much money to just go this route than the traditional vet trip! and the customer service and groomers is excellent as well! great place to bring your pets 😊

They had the silver dollar fish I have been searching

This location is exceptional! Their aquatics department is far above and beyond what one would expect from a chain store. Knowledgeable staff, well tended, and for the saltwater enthusiast, live corals.
