Northern Edge Physical Therapy

I had rotator cuff surgery in August, I was referred by Co-worker to try Northern Edge for my 12 weeks of much needed physical therapy. I have other health/physical issues, so they had to adapt some of the exercises to my situation and adjust the first couple of sessions based upon my issues. They did so without complaint or concern and said, oh, we have a work around for this and they we're able to work with me. I have worked regularly with 2 of the workers: Etta and Maddie. They are awesome! Friendly, attentive & helpful, they know what they are doing and do it well. They are working with me on specific movements I need to be able to get back to work asap. I have worked with a few of the others and they were just as good, caring, friendly and helpful. I love the front end staff as well, they got to know me quickly and check me in as soon as they see me. They are friendly, and they interact with the clients in the lobby when waiting for staff and it makes you feel like family! I like them so much that I will use them again for any PT needed as well as refer friends or family to them! The entire staff are truly awesome!

The PT Care is professional, personable, with great outcomes. My experiance's have all been top notch. I highly recommend them for knee surgery recovery as well as back surgery recovery.

These guys are great! They got me back on my feet after I had neck and spinal damage! Now they are treating my pain that I never thought I would be without. I feel blessed to have them on my side!

The front desk ladies are very friendly. They will talk with you while you are waiting for your therapy session. Beverly and Maddy were wonderful. They fixed my back when other physical therapy clinics couldn't. Everyone has very pleasant and happy attitudes. Very fun and enjoyable place to get your body back in motion. Thank You all for your excellent support and help, from a grumpy veteran. 🙂

Received input on proper work out movements so as not to affect some of the nerve problems I was experiencing.

Nice staff, worked with me with my small wrist issue and finished last schedualed appt today. Just wanted to say thank you very much for giving me the knowledge I need to stay pain free, also helping work the areas with discomfort I feel I am getting better strength and flexibility already only after 3 visits. My son has received care from Northern Edge for almost a year and every visit has been a great experience. Teri upfront always does her magic to accommodate our crazy schedules, & his sessions with Jimmy, Etta and Moe have really helped his healing and maintaining his strength to keep him in shape for his sport seasons. They have been such an impact that even my husband switched over to receive services as well. We are forever grateful for their level of service and care. Since beginning PT in February of this year for my broken foot, the staff at Northern Edge has been absolutely amazing. They are professional, have a broad knowledge base, and are personable as well. Each time I schedule, the front desk asks who I’d like to schedule with, and every single PT has been amazing. Jimmy is caring and funny, and also has talked through my foot issues with me at length, Garrick has been awesome with sharing information about some challenges both of our sons share, to name some of the traits that have created a want for me to come back, coupled with my need for care. Terry at the front desk has been on it when it comes to insurance and overall communication. I won’t recommend any other place for physical therapy, they’re the best there is.

Absolutely exceptional! I was in an Auto accident and informed by many Doctors that I would never Walk again! Well, guess what! I was up and walking in 6 months! Whether it was from the Grace of God or the assistance of my physical therapy and my determination to Walk again or whatever reason, through my physical therapy and information received I have defied the odds! Honestly, I have received more assistance and guidance from Northern Edge then any other facility!

Northern Edge is amazing and got me back in working order after shoulder surgery. I was worried about missing out on ski season but they assured me I would make it and they were right about that! Being a head volleyball coach, I have spent a lot of time on developing a positive culture. I’ve never seen a better example of positive team culture than this place. If I could I would send my whole team to this PT office so we could take a page out of their book. The amount of knowledge that these therapists have are sooooo incredible, and how they keep checking in with you personally brings a tear to my eye. You’re not just a client to them. Your family. I love northern edge and everyone I’ve met so far. They are worth every penny and more.

I started PT at Northern Edge about 3 weeks ago and have had amazing experiences with everyone. I had a referral to start PT(3 times a week for 5 weeks) due to back issues and weakness in my legs. The ladies at the front desk are always warm and welcoming. Terri is absolutely amazing to chat with and I love seeing her when I walk in, she is in tune with what you are needing and is always willing to add laughter and joy to your day. I always leave there smiling when I got the opportunity to see Terri!! It's nice to have so many committed people to help you reach your goals. Physical Therapists, Carlos and Jimmy (who I primarily work with) are very knowledgeable and its nice that they each bring their own skills to the table to help you feel better!! Some days I get dry needing other days some massage which is nice to change it up a bit. The athletic trainers are also wonderful, I work a lot with Maddy and she is awesome. She helps keep me on track with warm ups and handles my redcord sessions. I have made big improvements over the last 3 weeks and I am thankful to have a team of people who are helping me get back to a better way of living. I highly recommend Northern Edge Physical Therapy, why have 1 person working on getting you strong when you could have a full TEAM in your corner? ;) You wont be disappointed by doing PT here. I have been trusting Keith Poorbaugh and staff with all my physical therapy needs for over ten years. They have helped me heal from several surgeries and injuries, and have given me lifelong routines that have increased my mobility and improved my overall health. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Northern Edge goes above and beyond. Terry has gone way out of her way by making extra phone calls to ensure I was getting the correct care with the correct authorizations. She is so kind and it is obvious how much she cares for the clients. Terry, Kyleigh, and Shawna knew me by name after my first visit- no small feat with as many as 20 clients coming in per provider in a day. Etta is willing to continuously reassess my issues and create a functional plan, all while setting realistic expectations. Maddie and Claire continuously challenge me with new strength moves, and keep it interesting with a wide variety. Elisa finds every sore spot to massage out and works wonders with cupping and new treatments I’ve never heard of. When it’s time to leave the gals at the front desk are always on the spot confirming future appointments and making sure the visit ends on a personal note.
I cannot thank Terry enough for all the work she has done to ensure my care with Northern Edge. I fully credit her for navigating the intricacies of workman’s comp and helping me through the process more than anyone. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be under the care of Northern Edge.

Due to a number of injuries stemming from military service I have been attending physical therapy for a few of years, one and a half of them at Northern Edge. I've attended PTs in 4 states and I have to say that Northern Edge is by far my favorite. The front end staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. Scheduling is super easy and the reminders they send are awesome. The PTs and Technicians are amazing! The array of knowledge and equipment they have at their disposal ensures that everyone gets the specific care they need; it's not just another generic PT office. This is also a great place for people of any physical capability from severe injury to athletes. When you go in you just get the feeling that the staff actually care about seeing you successful. I can't say enough good things. If you're looking for a PT in the Mat-Su this is your place! P.S. for veterans: Northern Edge is extremely good at the VA system and referrals. It really takes a lot of stress away from using the Community Care system.

I have been to Northern Edge for two different issues overvthexpast two years, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Every oerson who works there has treated me with care, kindness, respect and skill. The front office staff is amazing, friendly and efficient. The therapists are so knowledgeable, caring and professional, and I have total confidence in them. They are so good at explaining what treatments they are doing and why, and they listen carefully to my concerns. I am grateful to, and have the greatest respect for those I've worked with ( immy, Derek, Mo, Gartick, Etta, Clare) and I am certain that the rest of the team is equally wonderful.
