Sands Harbor Resort & Marina

I’m a local to the area and have been here a few times to eat. I’ve had their Greek style kabobs and their turkey club in the past. The turkey club is exactly what it is supposed to be and the kabobs were pretty good. When I went a few weeks ago, the server did not look happy at all to be there and barely came over, which I’m assuming might be due to it being a holiday weekend. I’m hoping that this was just an isolated incident. There is a pool you can hop in if you are staying at the hotel or if you are eating at the restaurant. It’s definitely a local spot and the bar service is always fast. Many of my friends go on a biweekly basis and recommend!

We're locals and the Sands is a great place to enjoy an afternoon or evening relaxing with beautiful views of the intracoastal. Everything on the menu is delicious. And the drinks will always make you feel like you're vacationing in the Islands. A great atmosphere with a cozy pool to jump in anytime you're breaking a sweat. The service is always warm and friendly. Weekends are busy so get there early to secure a seat. More restaurants and bars are just down the block and the beach is only two blocks away. A hidden gem in Pompano Beach, don't miss out.

Keith provided exceptional service. He was a breath of fresh air, inviting, pleasant, and made up feel like we were at home. His staff was so swift and friendly.

The dining options caught us by surprise. We tried a plethora of menu items and can't wait to come back to try more. It had just the right touch.

FM Band Miami was performing that night. The band made it a phenomenal experience overall. I can't think of another local band that I've heard that comes close to them. The variety, engagement, and talent alone is all the more reason of why we will be back.

Had such an awesome time at Happy Hour last night sitting at a table with about 8-9 friends enjoying the beautiful view. Food and drinks came out in a timely fashion for us, and must say Gina was exceptional making sure everything was going well and if we needed anything else . She made sure my table as well as the entire dock was happy and had what they needed.. she’s a gem there! 💎

My MIL decided to surprise me for my birthday, and as a Wheelchair user i was skeptical of the accessibility of the hotel with the rooms being #1 on my list. After checking in i discovered that my concerns were valid. The door to the bathroom was beyond small. I was prepared for a long dance with the staff to find a solution. To my surprise Tamara and Melissa assured me that they would move rooms around to make sure that my stay was comfortable. OMG we even had adjoining rooms with the MIL, which made the trip special. Thank you to Melissa and Tamara for going above and beyond on a busy Sunday!!

We didn't stay at the property but went to dine for brunch & it was wonderful! Our server Steven was amazing, the Dj curated the perfect atmosphere. We found this place because of TikTok definitely a hidden gem!!

I recently stayed at Sands Harbor Resort and was very pleased with my experience.
The Sands Harbor Restaurant has delicious food (I didn’t try the other restaurant, The Rusty Hook, but I did hear it was very good as well). Making it a great place where boats pull up for a tasty bite and a cocktail with a tropical vibe. The special part is the attention, care and friendliness of the staff. Especially, the Manager Keith. He made sure to greet every guest, ensuring that they were having a good time, as well as everyone who pulled up on a boat, establishing a feeling that all are at home at the restaurant.
The rooms were recently updated and were very lovely. All rooms face the South, so that everyone has a beautiful view. The housekeeping staff and check-in staff are extremely hospitable and will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is absolutely 100% wonderful. I highly recommend Sands Harbor Resort & Marina. The rooms could use a little attention. Still not bad. The staff is awsome, the service is awsome, it was a great experience. We had a blast just hanging out by the pool. WE have been going there since 2001. The newly remodeled sands is really nice. Best place to stay for the price. We will be back in June for sure.

My wife and I had a weekend trip from Friday till Sunday (our anniversary)
We booked the room a week in advance with no problem.
We got a king room.
The room was really comfortable and the A/C was perfect!
(Really cold and loud enough that we didn't need a ceiling fan)
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean!!
The staff and outside bar were amazing!!
Renee was a very attentive bartender and took really great care of us!!
I watched a new housekeeping employee work meticulously at cleaning every slat and window between rooms for 4 floors and I had to point it out to a manager so he could be recognized!!!
He deserved it!
This place is really awesome and I suggest you check it out!!!

So I stay here very frequently with my job, like over 60 times a year, and there’s a reason I keep coming back!!! Connor, Keith, Steve, Forrest, John, Anastasia, Sarah, and all my friends that work there that have basically become family are absolutely terrific!! I highly recommend the place. It’s your one stop shop, great atmosphere, good food, good people, great prices and accommodations, and a great location!!! On the water and two blocks from beach, but you never have to leave the resort if you feel like that as well. I give them an honest 5 star recommendation. If you’re looking at traveling to the area go by and see these guys, it’ll be worth it

My boyfriend & I decided to stop in for a bite to eat while out on the boat with our dog. The location is easy to get to, and the dockhands were fast to help us dock. The food was delicious, drinks were cold, and our server Tyler was very friendly and fast with our drinks. Tyler gave us great recommendations from the menu. We have been to the Sands before, but the updated menu offerings are incredible. We will be back!

I can't rate the hotel because I didn't stay there, but the restaurant is nice. I had the Cobb salad - AMAZING! And their blue cheese dressing is the bomb!

An impromptu stay in the Coral Springs area led us here. Had read reviews and thought we would e it a try after a very trying day. I had to call the desk before arriving and spoke with Samantha. She was able to insure all was set up, unfortunately no views of the water. No problem as we booked last minute. Upon arrival was met by the nicest valet.ade it inside and Samantha was there to greet and remembered how stressful our day had been and was even more wonderful in person! Not sure how she did it, but getting into the room we had a view of the ocean and the marina! Our newly renovated room reminded me of a little cottage! We could not have been more pleased with our room, the views and staff! So much so that we stayed an extra night!

Private party Booked here for L’Oréal Dermatology. This resort venue was absolutely beautiful. Dinner program held outside on dock area, food was amazing and wait staff ( Crystal and Roberto) provided impeccable service. Big Thank You to Gina and David for arranging everything and accommodating menus. We will be back for future events.

Keith, Sarah, Jonathan, Renee, Forrest, and all the staff are so wonderful and welcoming, with bright smiles and open arms. Everyone treats us like we are home, going out of their way at times. My wife feels safe & fun on her own, which means the world to me. By land or sea, they always take care of us, friends, and visitors. Great Mahi Tacos, our go-to for eats. Keith gave us a tour of the suites with beautiful views of the ocean and locale. I recommend the suites for any get together or weekend getaway. Convenient location. A hidden gem, on the water with great views and amazing Resturant. The staff are excellent, lobby newly renovated with spacious rooms. We docked out boat during our stay which was convenient.

Sands Harbor Resort is the best spot in pompano! The service and food is amazing. They have a DJ on weekends and they do special events such as brunch. On April 8th they held a solar eclipse party! For a Monday, Sands Harbor was packed and had the best music cranking. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a drink and appetizers on the beautiful intercostal. We come from New Jersey just to go to Sands Harbor because the vibes are awesome!!!

John is the best bartender!! If you want best customer service, amazing drinks and delicious food. This is the place to come. John can do it all! The best bartender in Florida!! Come see him in action!!

Great atmosphere, food and drinks are on point. Keith the manager was super cool and the Holidazed band was great! Good vibes, highly recommend paying a visit.

Recently ate at this restaurant for a night out with my girlfriend & we were very pleased with the service!!!! our server Natasha was outstanding. Recommended menu items & drinks, constantly checked on my girlfriend & I, making us feel very welcomed. This place overall had such an amazing environment & we can’t wait to go back south to visit!
