King Street Oyster Bar

My friend and I visited The Oyster Bar in Middleburg, VA. We LOVED our dinner and cocktails. We both ordered salads, and we were very impressed by the different flavors and textures of the salads. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and my friend ordered the marinated Thai steak salad. The Mule cocktail was delicious with fresh lime and ginger . I highly recommend this restaurant for some amazing food and a fun and lively atmosphere.

Best fish and chips ever. Light and crispy. Nice outdoor seating too. We also had the crab dip and the crab cake sandwich which was meat and no filler. Good crispy fries. We left very happy

Came to check out King Street Oyster Bar for happy hour and try some raw oysters of course. The oysters were delicious and price well for happy hour. I want to try the Seafood Mermaid Tower next time I come back. The HH beer was a little pricey and the kitchen being in the middle makes the whole place warm. The patio seating in the downtown setting is very nice. Very friendly staff, walking distance to everything🦪

We had an amazing overall experience at the King Street Oyster Bar tonight. Aside from the service being great and all of the seafood being really fresh, I had what was probably the best jambalaya that I've ever had in my life which includeds the jambalaya that I had while visiting New Orleans, Charleston, and Savannah. We couldn't recommend King St Oyster Bar highly enough. The jambalaya here is a must try!

We continue to enjoy the Oyster Bar very much. We had forgotten how fabulous the food is. We both enjoyed a creamy crab appetizer. My bride had a delicious Salmon with mashed cauliflower and vegetables. I had a crusted Trout. Both were wonderful. She had pumpkin cheesecake to finish and I bread pudding with BBC vanilla sauce and white chocolate. Fabulous.
For some reason the restaurant has adopted the policy of slapping an additional 4% on the bill without warning customers. This is disrespectful of those of us who patronize the restaurant. They should be better than this. It's a lose lose.

Went for happy hour (everyday from like 3-6pm). Great deal! Everything was so fresh and by far the calamari is in my top 3. The wedge salad was super tasty with homemade Bleu cheese. Also the desserts are delicious. Not pictured, the salmon - yum. I recommend making a reservation as the place is always packed.

I love this place and even though It's not close to where I live, I will make the trip on a friday afternoon for their wonderful happy hour. Great food, great atmosphere. Oysters and tuna tacos- fantastic!

We love King St Oyster bar. They always have great food and service is great. Today we tried the happy hour menu and it was excellent. Drinks were awesome and $1 oysters were fresh and can't be beaten. Their tuna tacos were wrapped in Radish instead of tortilla and were so refreshing. Will be going there again.

Went there for drinks and appitizers and was super impressed. Pleasantly busy and fun atmosphere. There is seating inside and outdoors. Some of the best food I've ever had.

A little salty, my daughter ordered Fish and Chips and a she got two pieces of fried Cod and a piece of fried Chicken that was surprising to say the least

The wife and I needed to grab a quick bite before our spa treatments at the Salamander Resort. To our surprise, they had happy hour which seemed like everyday that goes from 3:00pm-6:30pm.

The place was busy but we fortunately landed at the first come first serve bar area. We ordered a few beers, wings, spinach dip, and a dozen oysters. The oysters are $1 during happy hour.

We were in and out of here quickly but will be back!

I have loved everything I have ordered at KSOB, both in Middleburg and Leesburg. Owner Rick Allison is Culinary Institute of America trained, and it shows. Every dish is exceptionally good. As an ex-pat Brit, I can say that the fish and chips are the best I have ever had. That goes for the crunchy fish and the fries. Plus, the coleslaw lightly flavored with fresh tarragon is divine. It's worth asking for a take-out. Then there's the crispy calamari on ginger lobster sauce. Total delish. I could go on but suggest you go to enjoy the terrific menu.

This place is Bomb. Our Waiter Collin was great and did such a good job.The Raw Oysters are so good and so is the Wedge Salad.The Fried Shrimp and Oyster platters are 10/10! The best Tarter sauce you have ever tried. Highly recommend the Gimlet Cocktail with the coconut creme foam! This place will not disappoint.

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had — and at 1:30 on a Monday, no less. The Tuna Taco and Brussel Sprout Salad were what put it over the top!

Experienced dinning out in the pandemic. I had a dinner here with my husband. We sat inside but they do have the patio seating too. We order calamari on the HH Manu. Two entree’s came after we finish the appetizer. They were so good and delicious. Had the brownies sundae after meal. Service was great and quick.

Great experience. Really love the town of Middleburg, very quaint. Now for the restaurant. Excellent food. We got there during happy hour. My friend had a Rasberry Mojito and she loved the taste with the hint of mint. Spinach dip, Wings, oysters, crab cake poppers were excellent choices. They didn't have military discount, but still worth a visit. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food and better service this is the place to go.

Their happy hour is seriously unbeatable for that area! Always put your name in first for happy hour as the wait can be quite long sometimes. I would go early, put your name in, and walk to the distillery down the street for a drink/absinthe and stay until you get the text that your seat is ready.

The oyster selection is great! Their KSOB oysters really are good and for the happy hour price, worth getting at least a dozen to start. They even have other small bites on happy hour that really are good.

Their cocktails are really good. A nice variety. I usually get the Airmail on happy hour and the Smoked Pineapple Margarita if it’s no longer happy hour.

Good place to go. Need reservations befor because it is crowded. Our favorite was crab sandwich and fried shrimp. You have to try the sweets it will never fail you especially chocolate cake and ice-cream on the top, strawberry short cake.
