Great fast service! Got me in same day I called and got me back on the road home. Prices for parts and labor about average, lower labor hourly rate than dealership. Very happy!

Broke down passing through Platteville and Garveys got me in to replace my alternator and I was on the road in less than 3 hours. Let my dog wait with us in the waiting room instead of in the car in negative temps. Super reasonably priced.

I loved this place! I called because my car was shaking when I got up to about 65mph and they got me in within the week. I dropped my car off and they got to work on it right away. They called me with any updates and checked with me before they did anything and told me how much it would cost. They rotated all 4 of my tires and balanced the front and back of my car all for $55. They also told me things that might need to be fixed in the future. They had my car fixed within the same day and were super nice and friendly. I would recommend this lil shop to anyone. Great service, great people, great prices!

These guys are awesome! They fit me in same day for an oil change before I went out of town. Had a little shop talk. Decently priced. Really nice guys. I would definitely recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Garvey's! A serpentine belt broke in my truck and I was unable to drive to the shop. Chuck assured me they would get the truck to the shop and take a look at it ASAP. When repairing my truck they remained in contact with my father providing any additional information on the issue. The following afternoon I received a call that it was ready to be picked up! When I went to pick up my truck, Kevin, was very friendly and provided great customer service! The service charge was extremely reasonable as well! My parents and I am very thankful for this shop, and will know where to go for any further help!

Daughter coming home from college, when her car had issues on Wed night before Thanksgiving. The businesses of Platteville were very helpful, from Culver's to Country Inn and suites to Garvey's Auto. Garvey's auto set up the towing fix the car, worked on Saturday to get it done at a reasonable price. Thank you Chuck

Oil change charge was only $29.40! They also replaced my third brake light (that I didn't know was out) for $3.50. The guy said to give them about an hour for the oil change and they finished in about 50mins. Excellent service!

Garvey's was very helpful recently with a brake repair job on my daughter's car. We did not have a local shop for auto repairs but do know. They were understanding, responsive, and willing to work with us. The brakes work wonderfully.

We found ourselves stranded with car troubles while visiting our son. He recommended Garvey, and we are so glad he did! Mr. Garvey scrambled to find the parts we needed, even though they were on back order; he worked overtime for two days on our car, though he already had a full schedule, and would not settle for less than a perfect fix. In spite of his extra effort, his labor charge was very reasonable! Thank you, Mr. Garvey!

Been here a lot recently, they haven't given me any reason to doubt their business. A bit crude, a bit to the point, but in the end, they do good work and don't try to convince you of anything that isn't true. In fact, every time I've left here I've spent much less than I'd have expected to. Granted, nothing major was ever wrong, but there was potential for my last visit to be the end of my car (300k miles, not worth fixing anymore), yet I left with a vehicle, assurance that everything's good, and money in my wallet to boot.

Best mechanic in the Platteville area. They provide amazing service at a reasonable price. Anyone that asks me where they can get their car fixed, I tell them go to Garvey's. They always treat you right.

just needed a new blinker someone helped me right away and put it in for me. took 5 minutes and was very affordable definitely plan on coming here for other automotive needs
