Spessard Holland South Beach Park

It's more quieter than the other nearby beaches. I love it

This is our go-to beach. I love it in almost any weather! Today we went when it was raining/misty. Just watch out for turtle nests, and rip currents. Also make sure you have sunscreen. And for the sake of the world clean up after yourself. The amount of sunglasses, trash, and other things we find are sad. Nobody wants to clean up after you!

I love that this beach has free parking! It’s one of my favorite beaches in the area. I’ve even done family pictures here, both on the beach and with the small boardwalk and gazebos.

Plus it’s wide so it never feels too crowded if your there on a hot day, and I always am able to find parking, even when all the other beaches are full.

Gorgeous beach in south Brevard county. It's way smaller compared to the larger beaches like Indiantlantic, Indian Harbor and Cocoa Beach but the intimacy makes it so special. The walk from the parking to near the water is a short distance compared to others and then the walk into the water is a nice and slow gradual descent. The waves are small, in good weather mind you, which is great for families with children. Definitely not a surfer spot. There is a lifeguard on duty as well. The big highlight however is on a very sunny and clear day you will see the blue hues of water that are reminiscent of the Caribbean of Florida gulf side beaches. Simply paradise.

Yesterday we seen a yearling Wright whale. It's migration time. Also beach replenishment is actively going on. Please respect security guards and stay out of construction area.

Great beach to watch the sunrise. As we got to the beach, we saw a loggerhead sea turtle nesting only 20 ft away from the beach access. There were at least a half dozen sets of turtle tracks from nesting turtles the morning of July 4th.

This place is so beautiful...Late-August and the climate was perfect. The water was cool. The skies clear. The 'boardwalk' was unique and benches to sit and enjoy the sun and surf. Check it out ....relax and be blessed.

Absolutely gorgeous park/beach! Great place to enjoy a walk or jog. The beach is very clean

I love going to the beach here. There is a shower and restroom available. The best part is that it's a short walk to the beach, especially when you are carrying a lot of items.

The downside is that this location doesn't have a snack bar.

Great beach, good parking. Avoid during beach replenishment, as you cannot walk through the construction area.

The abandoned, beached ship is so much fun. Storms in the ocean brought some crazy seaweed so for lounging on the beach this may not be your favorite spot. For photography and really getting some fun pictures, the seaweed adds color and texture you don't usually get. Plus, the boat is super fun to shoot!

Nice beach. Good facilities with restrooms and shower. There are seating areas up above for people who don't want to brave the sand and just want to enjoy the view. Not very busy during the week. Is a place for locals.

Very nice beach. Seems to extend forever in both directions. Restrooms and rinse stations as well as several boardwalk beach access points.
Some of this season's excessive sea grass has washed up, but not so much as to be a bother for most people.

"Quite" part of the beach with showers and restrooms. No lifeguard so swim at your own risk.

My go to beach. Has shower and restroom. Pavilion for birthday parties. Mostly clean and not to overly crowded.

Beautiful beach, very clean, not over crowded. I love it.

A great beach. A guy went by on a glider and showed off a little bit. Beach busy but not overcrowded. Everyone did their own thing. We had a good time. Went swimming. Had a snack.
Ample parking.

Free parking, showers and restrooms. There's also a lifeguard in a select area.

Both North and South Spessard Holland are great. South Beach has the bigger parking lot but north beach has concessions.
