Popcorn Monkey

OMG SO MANY FLAVORS! This place is owned by a local couple that makes a lot of unique flavors for their popcorn. The shop is small and intimate, they have a Facebook page and let people vote on new or what flavors to make for the month, and there are many container options if you want them. We tried many that were out for tasting and she let us try a few that weren't. if you like savory cheesy flavors, the Blue Cheese is just fantastic! The sweet flavors are all very good, but salted caramel may be the best I've ever tried 😍 Also you can get stuffed toy monkeys there!

This place is heaven for popcorn lovers!! The owner, Tone, is so wonderful and friendly. He offers so many different types of popcorn - both sweet and savory - and is also open to recommendations for new varieties. Texas Tornado is probably my favorite of the savories and green apple/caramel for the sweets. So many options to try!!

From day one this place has been a winner.

The owner is a super busy guy but when he's in he is super friendly and always quick to offer a sample of something new he's working on. The selection is always great and the flavors really pop. I'm personally a fan of the spicier offerings but I haven't had a bad popcorn from them yet.

It's a bit off of the main road but it's a total hidden gem.

One more thing - they're dog friendly and that's a real plus in my book!

She has candy in the store that I ate back in the 80s.

Their popcorn was, hands down, the best I have ever tasted. They even have a website to order from if you aren't in the mood to step out of the house, but you would be missing out since they are located in the heart of beautiful Middleburg.

A must visit in Middleburg! Tone has a new flavor to sample almost every week, and the shop is filled with snacks, old fashioned candy, and tins with all of your favorite sports teams. And don't forget the free popcorn samples! If you are debating buying a tin, just do it because you will be back for refills.

We were referred to this place by a friend. There store is very small and seems cramped and dirty. We got a few bags of popcorn, Paid over $30 and it was not worth it. The Cheddar popcorn didn't really have any flavor, nor were my fingers covered in cedar, which is what I look for when getting gourmet Popcorn. The popcorn also did not taste fresh. You could tell it was popped a few days ago and even some pieces were stale tasting. Although the staff was friendly, we wont be returning. we will stick with Popcornopolis.

I am a first time customer and had always wanted to try gourmet popcorn, so I was looking forward to this. My husband and I drove by a few times trying to figure out if it was open. We went on a Saturday afternoon. As I approached the door to peer in I saw a woman in the building but the door was locked. There was no OPEN/CLOSED sign or anywhere that I saw that displayed the hours. Since the door was locked I just figured that they were closed and started to walk away. No big deal.
As I walked away the lady I saw inside opened the door. As she let me in she said that I could come in so long as I was paying with a card. OK. No problem!!! I felt like the attitude she was putting off was that she was doing ME a favor by letting me in. Maybe she had somewhere else to be and I came along. She explained that the flavors they had available were on the wall and showed me the sizes they had for purchase. I asked if there was a way I could sample them. I was told I could only sample 2, with an attitude and an angry look on her face. Seriously!!!! Again, making me feel like she was doing me a favor. I was so uncomfortable, went for the safe bet and asked for a large bag of caramel (boring!!!) and a snack size of what they call Monkey mix. Which was what I should have asked for in the large bag. I was too scared to ask for another sample. :-/ I walked out of there paying $24 and some change. I gave this review a 2 star only because the popcorn I did taste was really good. Unfortunately, I will not go to this location again and will try my luck with another location.

Over rated. Last week I stopped in because I heard good things about the popcorn. The popcorn was average. My son loved the candy choices. Cute little store.
