Thankfully I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this country store that dates back to 1929. It’s amazing that parts of it are like a time capsule. For example, one room had antique bicycles mounted from the ceiling. Also, in the basement there are several antique cars from the 1920s and earlier. It’s enjoyable to see a store so special and unusual as this one, and I definitely will come back soon!

This place is a wonderful little family owned country store were not only can you get gas and maine stay items but hardware and avast array of antiques even some cars, you can get a good hair cut and some conversation as well.

We live right down the road, I love this store. It has a little bit of EVERYTHING! I have gotten canning supplies here, other kitchen items, food, you name it! My son had his first real haircut here(I’ve been cutting his wild hair at home). Spanky did a beautiful job on his hair. He cut it perfectly, he loves his new do! Thanks so much for your friendliness and for all the treasures in your store. I always enjoy stopping by!

Amazing store. It is a step back in time, but you can find just about anything in this treasure.

This gas station, yes, gas station, is a museum of creative history! Everywhere you look there is something to see, and it's ALL interesting. I met Spanky and could see this place contains all the pieces of his creative life. I was lucky enough to see his personal cars, dating back to the 20's. In the back is a large music area. It was open mike tonight and an instant Zen and family feeling filled the room. No smoking and no alcohol, which you don't even miss once inside. There is still beauty in the Universe.

Lost my money from the coke machine, but the price was fantastic! LOL, $1 for a 12 oz can! The machine usually works.

The most authentic country store and gas station I've EVER been to. I tour the country with antique auto clubs seeking places like this out and this was by far the best. A modern convenience store mixed with a 90 year old general country and mercantile store. Haircuts, hardware, sporting goods, working post office, antique cars in the basement, dance hall and music club in the back. Truly has it all.

Eclectic country store in practicality the middle of nowhere. Gas, hardware, antiques, snacks and Spanky gives haircuts on-site. Friendly people. Also, check out Spanky's live music room on weekends!

Wonderful store! One of a kind - I had so much fun exploring. It's hard to describe all that is inside -it's part feed/hardware store, part thrift shop, museum, antique/collectibles- very friendly people! I hope to visit again soon.

Friendly folks, great service, wide selection of hardware and feeds. Great little barber shop inside as well.

A real General store. Will take you back in time as you wonder through the wood floors, basement with plumbing and antique cars; the second floor with hardware, fishing and hunting, glass cutting, and a barber shop. The barn in the back has all the farm feeds you could want as well as a pasture golf course. A GREAT AMERICAN PLACE FOR A LIFESTYLE OF THE PAST.

Last real country store! At one time you could do your grocery shopping, get everything to build and outfit your home, everything for your farm, buy a Ford sedan and tow your tractor home, and a haircut. No more Ford's but Spanky can just about anything else plus cut your hair. They have a music series on weekend evening's

Love this old fashioned store. I can get groceries, feed for the animals, seeds, plants, browse the antiques and local crafts and all while Spanky gives my son a haircut in the old barbers chair in the back!!

Just an amazing piece of history that shouldn't be lost. This should be a museum at some point. Auto repair in the basement, grocery store on the middle level and now a hardware store on the upper level.Haircuts and Beauty Salon still going. Just amazing. 1940's classic cars for sale now in the auto sport at the bottom. You have to visit. This was Walmart before Walmart.

Stopped in to check this store out, it has just about anything you could want. All types of hardware, they are a Southern States dealer and you can get your hair cut too! Be sure to check out the old cars in the basement!!
